Ligament ReconstructionTendon As Sports Medicine Science evolves, so do techniques. Soft tissue grafts have grown in popularity to address

a wide range of reconstruction surgeries. Graft choices include Anterior Tibialis Tendon, Posterior Tibialis

Tendon, Peroneus Longus Tendon, Semitendinosus Tendon, and Gracilis Tendon. For some revision

surgeries, filling bone voids created through the failure of a previous surgery is needed. MTF Sports

Medicine provides Revision Cores made of dense, cancellous bone available in multiple diameters with

cannulation to allow exact placement within the femoral and tibial tunnels.

Ligament ReconstructionTendon with Bone Blocks MTF provides a wide variety of soft tissue allografts with bone blocks for primary and revision

reconstructive surgery. Patella Bone-Tendon-Bone, Achilles Tendon, and Quadriceps Tendon are some

of the allografts offered by MTF Sports Medicine. Tissues are available in frozen and freeze dried forms,

and with shaped bone blocks to reduce trimming and manipulation during surgery. All soft tissue

grafts are treated using a validated aseptic, temperature-controlled cleaning process that maintains the

biomechanical integrity and biologic compatibility of each graft.

Meniscus & Cartilage Meniscal allografts are the treatment of choice for patients with a subtotal or total meniscectomy.

They help stabilize the joint, maintain space, increase condylar contact area, absorb shock, and relieve

pain. Meniscal allografts have also been used for glenoid resurfacing with shoulder hemiarthroplasty.

Osteochondral allografts eliminate the pain and morbidity associated with autogenous grafting. The

ACT™ (Allograft Cartilage Transplant) instruments bring a higher level of precision and ease to the

transplantation of allograft cartilage. To facilitate the placement of meniscus and cartilage grafts, MTF

Sports Medicine offers a “graft matching” service to help physicians determine the most suitable graft

for each patient.

Biologics, Scaffolds & FixationMTF Sports Medicine provides the growth factors, scaffolds, and fixation for an “all-biologic” approach

to soft tissue repair. At the forefront is the CASCADE® Autologous Platelet System, which employs

platelets and their associated growth factors for clinical applications that require rapid healing and tissue

regeneration. The Cascade system produces a Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) that can be delivered

arthroscopically and sutured into the repair site to stimulate a healing response. ALLOPATCH HD™

Acellular Human Dermis is a high-quality extracellular matrix (ECM) scaffold for tendon augmentation

derived from human allograft skin and processed using proprietary procedures developed by MTF to

preserve and maintain the natural biomechanical and biochemical integrity of the graft.

ALLOFIX® Suture Anchors are made from human cortical bone and are available in the 5.0mm and

6.5mm sizes. The Allofix Anchor has a threaded design and is preloaded with 2 strands of fully-braided

#2 ORTHOBRAID™ suture providing strength, flexibility, and flatter knots. The corresponding

instrumentation is essential to the insertion of all Allofix Suture Anchors.
