Preparation

• Gather Supplies and Disinfect Station• Sanitize Hands & Drape Manikin

Procedure• Create a four section parting• Established the guideline length

around back perimeter • Established the guideline length

around front perimeter• Connect both guidelines over the

ears

Procedure Continued• Establish the interior guide at top of

head (near the apex)• Continued cutting guideline to front

hairline above the forehead• Continued cutting guideline from

crown to nape of the neck

Use VERTICAL partings to connect and blend top guide to bottom guideline

• Start at the front, working around the head to the front on the opposite side of the head, cut from top guideline to the bottom guideline (Stand behind your cutting area)

• Maintained a 90 degree elevation throughout procedure

• Use a traveling guideline to maintain uniformly layered lengths

• Performed cross check of procedure for accuracy by rotating around the head in the opposite direction and this time if cutting is needed, cut from bottom guideline towards the top guideline

• Apply styling products & Blow-dry

• Use finishing products if desired• Sweep up the floor• Clean and disinfect station
