RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER TO S. BROTHERS, INC. FOR ROAD

IMPROVEMENTS TO RIVERVIEW DRIVE

Resolution #10R- WHEREAS, the Township awarded a contract for road improvements toRiverview Drive to S. Brothers, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, the aforesaid project is being funded by the New Jersey Department ofTransportation and the Change Order is subject to approval by the New Jersey Department ofTransportation; and

WHEREAS, as a result of site conditions, it is necessary to make additions and deletions as setforth in the Change Order submitted to the Township on August 18, 2010 as annexed heretoincreasing the Contract amount of by $11,323.50 from $144,020.62 to $155,344.12 (7.86%); and

WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has provided a Certification of Funds;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township ofEwing that it hereby approves of the Change Order No. 1 submitted by S. Brothers, Inc. datedAugust 18, 2010 as annexed hereto increasing the Contract amount of by $11,323.50 from$144,020.62 to $155,344.12; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and appropriate officials are hereby authorizedto execute the Change Order as presented.
