u IDC 4U0 – Sports and Entertainment Marketing: This course is designed for students interested in sports, entertainment and event marketing. Emphasis is placed on the following principles as they apply to the industry: basic marketing, event marketing, sponsorship, promotions, implementation of sports/entertainment marketing plans, branding, licensing, and naming rights; endorsements, business foundations and event management techniques. (Prerequisites: BMI 3C0 marketing or BAF 3MO accounting)

v IDC 309 and IDC 4U9 – Yearbook Interdisciplinary Studies Course: These single credit interdisciplinary production courses provide students with strong written communication and strong visual design or communication technology skills, the opportunity to plan, promote and produce the school yearbook within a curricular setting. Emphasis is placed on honing written and visual communication skills, computer-based graphic design skills, marketing and team collaboration. (IDC 309 Preferred Prerequisites: any of AVI 2O0 visual arts, AWT 2O0 non-traditional media, ENG 2D0 academic English and/or TGJ 2O0 tech communications) (IDC 4U9Prerequisite: any Grade 11 University or University/College preparation course; preferred prerequisites include any of AVI 3M0 visual arts, AWQ 3M0 photography, ENG 3U0 university English and/or TGJ 3M0 tech communications)
