Parents-

Please help us in keeping the following a surprise for the 8th grade students.

Your 8th grade student will be on retreat May 8th in the Youth Ministry Rooms at Kimberly. As part of this retreat, we will be talking about change. Who better to help students through change, then their loved ones? I invite all parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, friends and neighbors to write a note of encouragement to their student, sharing a personal story about change in their life and how they dealt with it. In addition to their story, it is my hope that the letter will let the students know that they have a support system who understands what its like to deal with change and that they have loved ones to lean on throughout the process. The letters will be distributed to students at an appropriate time during the retreat.

Letters should be addressed to: 8th Grade Retreat Childs Name. You can return them to Sarah at the Kimberly Parish office (620 East Kimberly Ave) or you can personally drop them off at the Darboy school office in the parish mailbox (please do not send with student). Please have letters in by Thurs May 1st.Please send at least one letter from home so that your child is not left without any mail.
