THURS*Think of something you want changed in your life, around the house, in the world, at school. It can be anything, no matter how silly. Now write a letter explaining what you want and why it should be changed.

*Think of something that makes you angry. -First, free write about why it makes you so mad.-Second, identify who is “at fault” for this injustice-Third, consider what would fix this problem, what would make it so that this thing would not

-in order to start our body paragraphs, we need to let our audience know what each para-graph is going to be about. In order to do that, we need to have a “topic sentence.”

-topic sentence: a road map for the paragraph (kind of like a mini-thesis statement for each specific paragraph)
