correct tension. 1 Stitch Holder; A Wool Needle for sewing up.

TENSION22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm over stocking st, using 4.00mm

Needles.

To work a 15 cm x 15 cm tension square, use 4.00mm Needles,

cast on 33 sts.

Work 44 rows stocking st. Cast off loosely.

Using 4.00mm Needles, cast on one st.1st row (K1, P1, K1, P1) all into st 4 sts.2nd row Purl.3rd row Knit.4th row Purl.5th row Sl 2, K2tog, p2sso one st.Fasten off, leaving a long length of yarn to sew button inplace. Form into a ball shape and use end to sew to RightFront Band.

MAKE UPUsing wool needle and mattress st seam, join sideand sleeve seams, matching stripes. Sew in sleeves.Sew on buttons, alternating colours. Sew in all ends.
