    PRESSURE VALVE

    The pressure valve acts to seal the pressure inside the radiator until thedifference in pressure from the atmospheric pressure(Differential pressure acting on the pressure valve) is 0.75kglcm2 evenwhen the temperature of the cooling water rises.In this way it prevents the cooling water from boiling or overflowing.

    Actuating pressure: 0,75kglcm2 (differential pressure)

    VACUUM VALVE

    If the internal pressure is sealed, it becomes more difficult for bubblesto be generated from the finer or for bubbles to be caused

    by the churning of the water pump, so this actsto prevent pitting or corrosion,If the set pressure of the pressure valve is made higher,

    the internal stress on components in the cooling systemwill increase, so the set pressure must not be raised too high.

    After the engine stops, and the temperature of the cooling water drops,causing negative pressure inside the cooling system, the pressure valveacts as a vacuum valve to remove the

    internal stress and relieve the negative pressure.The radiator cap plays an important role, so tell the user to replacethe cap immediately with a new part if it is damaged or stolen.

    COROSSION RESISTOR

    CORROSION RESISTORCorrect use of the corrosion resistor will lead to extensionof the machine life and reduction of owning & Operation cost.Corrosion resistors are installed to Komatsu engines,These corrosion resistors have an important role, as they actto increase durability and extend the life of the engine,liner, and oil cooler. In addition, they also act toprevent problems such as pitting caused by cavitations.

    Paper ElementThis acts to collect the dirt and particles of scaleor rust in the coolant. In this way it actsto prevent them from sticking to the coolantpassages, and protects the water pump seal.

    InhibitorThe solid white chemical dissolves in water andforms a corrosion prevention film on the surface ofthe cylinder liner block. It also makes it more difficult

    for scale to stick to the cylinder liner. It dispersesthe scale and suspends it in the water, anddischarges it together with the cook ant. If thesechemicals dissolved in water are used for a long time,or they become diluted because of addition of waterTo the coolant, they gradually start to lose their effect.
