The Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce is asking its members and the public to nominate a Chamber business member for the following awards: Man or Woman of the Year – Must be a member of the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, or employed by a

business that holds membership in the Chamber. Outstanding service to the community over a period of years to be primary reason for selection. Volunteer work on projects and events with the Chamber and work in other clubs and organizations

Educator of the Year – Honoring an educator who instills in students a desire to learn and achieve. Understands

the individual needs of students, encourages their talents and fosters their self-esteem. Nominee foster cooperative relationship with colleagues in the community, and the Wickenburg Chamber and demonstrates outstanding leadership.

Ambassador of the Year – Employee of a chamber business member with outstanding service to the community

through communication and interaction with the public; giving information about the business and community to inquiries stopping at their place of employment.

Outstanding Community Service Award – Outstanding service to the community over a period of years to be

primary reason for selection. Membership in other organizations considered. Volunteer work on worthy projects, including work in other organizations. The nominee may or may not be a member of the Chamber to receive this award.

Trailblazer Award – Awarded to an individual, organization or business that is trying something innovative and new

in our community. A new shop, restaurant concept, festival, or program. Recognize and applaud their efforts in "blazing a trail."

Best New Business – Honoring best new business (open for less than 24 months). Best Established Business – Honoring businesses that have been operating locally between 5 -20 years.

Recognition to a member business for outstanding customer service to local residents as well as visitors, this meets and exceeds expectations. Include in the nomination: Background about the business history for good working environment that stimulates and invigorates their employees. (Formerly called Small Business of the Year)

Best Long Time Business – Honoring best long time businesses – open for a minimum of 20 years Best Non-Profit Organization – Honoring the organization that serves a community need, has a positive track
