…what can we expect for Latin? NORTH CAROLINA WORLD LANGUAGE STANDARDS:

•Classical Languages…are no longer a native or first language for any population.

•Their study builds skills in reading, writing, reciting, and translating.

•Because they are not used in an everyday way by a society, Interpersonal Communication is not a focus of study.
