Our Legacy “St. Jerome Catholic School was established in 1962. With a low student to teacher ratio, St. Jerome serves the needs of students in Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. ExtracurricularActivities

“Learning and developmental [opportunities] extend beyond the classroom…Student Council, Drama [Guild], Scouting, [Liturgical Ministries], Ballet, Piano, Band, and Choir are areas in which students can participate and grow” (Saint Jerome Promotional Brochure, 2012). “Students in grades 6-8 may play on school sponsored

athletic teams. Featured sports include soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track. Students in grades K-5 who are interested in sports, are invited to play on teams sponsored by the Sports Association of St. Jerome Parish” (St. Jerome Promotional Brochure, 2012).

• The student body reflects the wide ethnic and cultural diversity of the Spring Branch area of Houston, TX

• Its faculty is comprised of 14 highly qualified teachers each with many years of practical experience in the field of education and most holding advanced degrees or certifications in their subject areas.

• Tuition Rates for the current 2012-2013 school year range between $ 5, 535 for a single child, who is Catholic and a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Parish to $ 6,835 for a single child, who is not Catholic, nor a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Parish.

• Families with as many as 5 students who are Catholic and a member of the Saint Jerome Catholic Parish have a fixed tuition of $ 16, 960. This is one of the lowest private school tuitions offered within the city of Houston, TX.
