Dear ELECTRO SOUNDS reader,This month in electric sounds we have had the pleasure of chatting to

electro genius Pixie Acia from the UK electro band ‘Dot the I’s and Cross the T’s’, she chats to us about her new album “it” released this month. She talks nifty dance moves, guilty pleasures and gets personal on her views about the UK music scene. We then look at another cockney genius; Matty Small who takes inspiration from the notorious streets of London and comes out with beautiful pieces that are inspiring. So Pixie, what goes on backstage at the ILOVE ELECTRO festival?

Well us electro kids have never

been to keen on following

rules. Lets just say it gets

messy.

There’s rumours of you and

Xavier de Rosney’s Justice

being an item...(Laughs) Yes me and X are an

item, we’re young and happy and

it’s all fresh and exciting. We

are proud and dont want to hide

it.

Glad to hear it, is there

any chance of you two of

working together on a new

track?No we talked about it but de-

cided against it as our sounds

are completeltey different,

What are your plans for the

rest of 2009 with Dot the

Is and Cross the Ts?I plan on making a new album

that is rampacked with excel-

lence. My last album “it” was

so much fun to make but that

was back in 07, I’m really

ready to start something new.

We’re all anticipating

something as good as last

time! What’s your inspiration for your

sounds?That’s my secret, but I’ll let

my favourite magazine in on

it. My biggest inspiration is

the Ting Tings (she laughs)

I’m only joking! It’s bands

like Portished and Burial that

inspire me to do my best work,

they’re produce stella stuff.

The Ting Ting’s are s***t.
