Secure Border Initiative (SBInet) Northern Border Project – Buffalo and Detroit Sectors MCS succeeded in designing and installing integrated surveil-lance systems in Detroit and Buffalo for US Customs and Border Protection. Recently, border agents used our cameras and com-munication network to stop a smuggling operation on the St. Clair River in Detroit. Radio Station Cabinet (RSC) Design, Production, Deploy-ment – Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast System (ADS-B) Initiative MCS of Tampa has partnered with Information Telecom Tech-nology (ITT) to manufacture the new cutting-edge, high-tech RSCs that form the backbone of the equipment that will be in-stalled in various locations throughout the United States. The ADS-B Program, which is an FAA - approved program, consist of installing GPS tracking systems for aircraft carriers to provide adequate data of surrounding air space. This new technology will replace the traditional radar-based system throughout the country. The ADS-B system is forming incrementally, and MCS' finished cabinets are supplying the sole means of surveillance over the Gulf of Mexico, which enables improved control over aircraft traveling through this airspace. Hollywood Wireless The City of Hollywood, FL now has its own claim to fame as “Wireless Hollywood,” thanks to MCS’ installation of a wireless mesh network throughout the City’s 27 square miles - the largest Motorola mesh network on the planet! SOMPE Project MCS teamed with L3 Communications - L-3 STRATIS (formerly Enterprise IT Solutions) division to address USSOCOM’s need for a configuration management (CM) system provide a logical model of infrastructure (software, hardware and services) and a means of maintaining control over these items through effective incident, problem, change and release management at 10 different locations throughout the CONUS. The project was executed in two phases in a period of performance of nine months
