problem of violence at houses of worship and
faith-based problems.. Over 480 violent deaths on
such property in the US since 1999 (about the same
as schools during that time frame). Speakers include,
Pastor & Police Officer Jimmy Meeks & Carl Chinn.
Pastors and church leaders must awaken to the fact
that violence has invaded houses of worship. They
must install a plan designed to provide a safe
atmosphere for their attendees. If disaster strikes
your church, you will spend the next few years trying
to recover. . . And some of your people will never
recover.

“When Christ (Who is your life) appears, then you too will be revealed in Glory with Him.” Colossians 3:4
It began when I was a boy and knew I had sinned. I needed the forgiveness offered through
Jesus. I was baptized at age eleven and every life challenge since nudged me further
into relationship with Christ. Somewhere along the way, He became my Everything.
Jesus is the Divine Who planted the seed of eternity in my heart. I didn’t do that, He did. He is also the
Gardener Who waters and weeds around His seed so it might grow. Looking at the fruit of good deeds on
my branches, I know He is the Sap running in my veins that creates the miracle.
Jesus is the Medicine for my raging dysfunction. He is the Doctor Who slips my dislocated life into place
and the Mortar that holds me together. He is the Music that transforms my spastic twitching into dance.
When opinions differ and minor doctrines divide, Jesus quells the fear we must get everything right. If
health fails or friends abandon, He is the Sunshine that fills the icy crevasse. He is my Freedom, my Peace,
and my Hope.
Imagine you’re in the vacuum of outer space. In panic, you try to draw breath but there’s nothing, only
reflexive gulping of emptiness. That’s what it’s like to live without Jesus. Take Him out of the equation and
you no longer have life, only a shell like a clam with the creature missing or a cocoon with the butterfly
gone. No life, just empty, dark existence with fading memories of the concept of light.
Jesus is more than everything. He is more existent than me. I’m only here because of His love. He is the
Cause, I am the effect. Though my faith in Him began as a tiny seed, it has grown into an unmovable tree.
By the power of His Spirit, my branches stretch toward Him and they won’t be deterred. I will be united
with my Everything.
Prayer: “Oh, Jesus, You are Everything I want from life.”

What a lovely service we enjoyed last Sunday with such genuine praise to the Lord and being able to participate in the ordination of Shane. How moving it was that each Elder had the chance to pray for Shane and his wife and family. What a lovely sense of unity and responsibility.
We will meet for prayer on the first Wednesday of June, which is June 6. However, because the 4th of July falls on a Wednesday, we will not meet in July.
Let's remember to pray for our military and police officers and all who put themselves in harms way in order to protect us. We owe them, big time!!

bladder cancer surgery Wednesday in Seattle. Pray for a good outcome and that no cancer in the kidneys will be found.
2. John Zuerner is asking prayer for healing for a good friend and former co-worker. His name is MIKE STALCUPMIKE STALCUPMIKE STALCUPMIKE STALCUP. He’s a Viet Nam vet in a V.A. hospital in Martinez, CA, struggling with throat cancer. He’s had several operations and has had his vocal cords removed. Pray for serious healing from the Lord, and pray for salvation.
3. Pray for a 48 year old man named KENKENKENKEN in Silverdale. He has lung cancer that has spread and Hospice has been called in. Pray for relief from pain and for peace for his wife and seven year old daughter.
4. MARY JOHNSON, MARY JOHNSON, MARY JOHNSON, MARY JOHNSON, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer stage one, has began radiation. Pray the side effects will not be bad and that she will not have to have chemo. Pray for peace of mind for her.
5. A woman named CARLACARLACARLACARLA is taking radiation treatments. Pray the treatments will have the effect the doctor is hoping for. Pray she will not have to have chemo too. Pray for healing, peace and comfort for her and her family.
6. JEAN CORIEA, JEAN CORIEA, JEAN CORIEA, JEAN CORIEA, a friend of Zuerners, has been told by the doctor that nothing else can be done for her. Pray for her salvation. Pray for peace and comfort.
7. STEVE CAPOGNASTEVE CAPOGNASTEVE CAPOGNASTEVE CAPOGNA, Phil Capogna's brother, is having chemotherapy. Please pray that he will have no serious side effects from the chemo. 8. Pray for DAVID DAVID DAVID DAVID who a year ago we were praying for because he had cancer of the esophagus. He is having
some serious medical issues again. He is on a 24 hour feeding tube. Pray for strength and comfort for him and his wife Connie.

LOIS SEELY LOIS SEELY LOIS SEELY LOIS SEELY had a CAT Scan and they found a blood clot in her leg and several small ones in her lungs. Pray for peace and comfort for her and Rick. KRIS BOWER KRIS BOWER KRIS BOWER KRIS BOWER thanks you for your prayers. The cysts behind both knees are very common and are benign. They may be pressing on veins causing some swelling but they are not dangerous. Even though she will not be able to have chemo for several weeks, her cancer marker has continued to come down and is now at only 22.7! Continue to pray for healing. 13. Pray for wisdom for the doctor that PAM LEAVITTPAM LEAVITTPAM LEAVITTPAM LEAVITT sees. Pray that whatever new treatment they decide on would be the right one for her. Pray for CAROL CAROL CAROL CAROL who is waiting for a knee replacement surgery in July. She is in much pain, which is now affecting her hip too. Pray for relief of pain and a sooner surgery date. 3. Pray for a man named MARKMARKMARKMARK who is 52 and just had a heart attack. Pray for healing. 4. A woman named BEV BEV BEV BEV has severe back pain. Please pray for healing and relief of pain for her. 5. Pray for a YOUNG MAN YOUNG MAN YOUNG MAN YOUNG MAN who needs wisdom regarding a relationship with a young woman that he met on line. Pray he will listen to counseling by his pastor and parents.

brain. The doctors are planning to operate but no date set. The latest is his head is growing but not the cyst. His head is big for a 2 year old. So he still has to have a scan before they make a final decision. His behavior is good and there is no change. The parents are quite stressed and apprehensive. The family are not believers.
