Why a new State ID?• Original “Uniq-ID” came out in 2004• This has:• Enhanced look-and-feel• Consistent text/button/link styles and formatting• Main menu that doesn’t take up valuable “real estate”• Filter that doesn’t take up valuable “real estate”• Ability to search on retired student state IDs (SSIDs)

• Behavior has not changed• Caveat: this is the first time I’ve been involved with an

upgrade. I’ll be looking at features that may get implemented later!• E.g. “Notes”8/10/2015
