Enlarge your views!• Home automationSmartHUB lets you have full control of your Carlo Gavazzihome automation system: lights, scenario, rollerblinds,alarms, temperatures, ... are all at your fingertips! SmartHUB can be connected to the Internet, enabling youto access e-mails and the weather forecast or remotelywatch over your home. It can also be linked to externalmonitoring systems, such as surveillance IP cameras, tomonitor parts of a building directly from the touch panel.Furthermore, audio/video systems can be connected tocontrol music and entertainment.*
• Energy managementSmartHUB logs all the electrical variables collected fromCarlo Gavazzi energy meters (EM21, EM24, EM26,WM30). Instant values are shown in a line chart coupledwith icons (e.g. emoticons) in order to let the user see andunderstand the various consumptions. All the logged data isthen shown on a bar graph so that a weekly, monthly oryearly overview can be seen by the home owner. The
various consumptions of electricity, water and gas areexpressed according to the entered tariffs, with theopportunity to manage them divided into 4 time bands.
• Monitoring of residential solar plantsInnovative, user-friendly and easy to install, SmartHUB is theperfect system for monitoring and managing domesticphotovoltaic plants up to 10 KWp. It allows you to monitorall aspects of the system, such as the amount of powerproduced, the energy yield, the return on investment (ROI)and the control of CO2 emissions, storing data for 20years.SmartHUB offers a wide range of analysis options (daily,monthly and annual graphs, relative and absolute yields,monetary yields, ...)SmartHUB sends you an e-mail in case of alarms in theplant.

The new SmartHUB display by Carlo Gavazzi is a PC-based control, regulation and logging unit with abrilliant capacitive touch screen. It is three products in one:it is a monitor and logger for photovoltaic plants, amanager for energy in building/home installations and ahome-automation display to operate centrally all thefunctionalities for more comfortable living. Via this touchscreen, the user can manage an intelligent control of thebuilding/home, thanks to an intuitive guidance menu thatallows quick access to the desired function. Many servicesare also available, such as e-mail, weather data, camerapictures, diagrams, individual start screens, icons andmessages to inform the user about the energy efficiency ofthe installation.

SmartHUB reads the electricalmeasures from Carlo Gavazzi energymeters or any other else energy meterwith Modbus RTU communicationcapability.It shows the data as instantaneousvalues and/or depicts them indiagrams.The energy management pages areavailable as templates that can beeasily customized.

SmartHUB helps you to save energyand money by showing the actual andhistorical consumption data, advisingyou if the total energy usage isexceeding a predefined threshold.Furthermore SmartHUB preventsoverloads by disconnectingappliances according to yourpredefined priority list.Water and gas consumptions are alsoshown. All the logged data can beexpressed in tariffs with theopportunity to manage them dividedinto 4 time bands.

Monitoring of residential solar plants
SmartHUB is compatible with CarloGavazzi inverters or any otherinverter using Modbus RTU.It displays the performance data ofyour photovoltaic system at any timein your home, advising you if anyanomaly should occur.
Direct connection to inverters
The production of today is shown,together with that of yesterday, to giveyou a clear indication as to how yourplant is working.Daily, monthly and yearly yields aredepicted in bargraphs and logged ona downloadable csv file.The production data is also expressedin terms of monetary yield (incentiveand savings) to have a clearunderstanding of the profitability ofthe plant.
