East of the property, less than two miles, is the Minnesota River, and two and a half miles north is the south end of Lac Qui Parle Lake. Less than a quarter mile west is Ten Mile Creek, which flows into the Lac Qui Parle River, one and a half miles north west of the subject property. The Lac Qui Parle River is two outlets into the Lac Qui Parle lake.
