In the retro setting of the “Café des Amours”, an exceptional evening dedicated to the operetta, featuring musicians from the Philharmonic Orchestra of Strasbourg and talented singers. On the programme: two one-act operettas by the brilliant Jacques Offenbach: Lischen et Fritzchen (an “Alsatian” operetta by the composer) and Monsieur Choufleuri restera chez lui (the lyrics of which are worthy of the great Italian operas). An evening full of freshness, where lyricism, love and humour harmonize joyfully.

A magnificent residence built in the 18th century for prince-bishops, Palais Rohan will host a concert of exquisite delicacy by young harpsichordist Louise Acabo, 19 years old, the winner of the Normandy International Baroque Music Competition (Concours Corneille). The concert will take you on a journey through enchanted gardens, resonating with magnificent music from Germany, France and Italy.

What a beautiful way to start off your Valentine’s evening: with an exquisite musical hour, in the company of talented musicians performing romantic works by the greatest composers - Tchaikovsky, Massenet and Fauré - but also by Glenn Miller, Edith Piaf, Boris Vian and Leonard Bernstein!

Batorama, which offers its boat cruises on the Ill River all year long in Strasbourg, has decided to moor alongside the “Café des Amours” and offer you a special Love Boat anthology evening. The night will be offbeat and festive, in the great tradition of evenings with the captain. It’ll be all hands on deck to offer you a traditional welcome in an exotic decor, complete with uniformed personnel, games, a dance floor, and more!Treat yourself to a special moment, meet some people and have a wild and crazy time! For the evening’s dress code, you’ll have to pick a side: crew or passenger! Come dressed up as the captain, a sailor, a diver... or in black tie, an evening gown or dressed in all white! In reward for your costume creativity, Batorama will treat you to the “captain’s glass”.

Love songs will never be the same since Barbara sang Dis, quand reviendras-tu?. Lou Casa pays tribute to Barbara, focusing her talent on singing original arrangements of the “Lady in Black’s” greatest hits. The show has been universally lauded by the press.
The group also played in and performed its version of Perlimpinpin in the film Barbara by Mathieu Amalric. The trio triumphed at the “Café de la Danse” and at the Philharmonie de Paris and will perform for “Strasbourg mon amour” in the exceptional setting of the Opéra du Rhin.

A new “chamber opera” company, the Chambre à Airs, offers a fresh take on Mozart’s timeless masterpiece. Whether it’s an ordinary love story or a genuine rite of passage, The Magic Flute sweeps us up in its evocative power. In this performance, three singers and seven instrumentalists embody Mozart’s story of love and intrigue, in a celebration of life. Will Tamino rescue Pamina? Will Papageno find Papagena? Will Sarastro reconcile with his old rival, the Queen of the Night? Lots of plot twists await you in the intricate maze of The Magic Flute. You’ll need only one guide: Mozart and his incomparable musical verve.
