Paul Cezanne

• (1839–1906) was a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter.

• Post-Impressionists extended Impressionism while rejecting its limitations: they continued using vivid colors, thick application of paint and real-life subject matter, but they had more of an emphasis on geometric form.
