Minutes I. Call to Order President Krause called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. II. Pledge of Allegiance III. Roll Call
Members present: Jay Krause, Dave Chesney, Ken Stahl, Beth Minert, Bill Trombley, John Conely and Andy Burchfield. Also present: Superintendent Gray, Assistant Superintendent Gistinger, staff, press, and visitors, 1 absent – Assistant Superintendent Surrey.

Motion: To approve the agenda as presented. Moved by: Chesney Supported by: Minert Motion: To amend the agenda to include Action Item E. 2012 Bond Project : Bid Pakage 6 Bid Summary. Moved by: Chesney Supported by: Minert Voice vote: 7 ayes. Motion carried.

A. Curriculum/Instruction – Dr. Chesney requested Principal Johnson to provide presentation on a BHS math and science center lab at the second board meeting in September. John Conely requested a presentation on ROTC. Board discussion took place on presentation requests. Superintendent Gray communicated that there is a process and set schedule for presentations from departments and administration. Dr. Gray will formalize this process by presenting a schedule for board review. B. Finance – Dr. Gistinger reported on opening day at Miller. District bills of
August 13, 2015 were presented for board review.

Financial Strategy – Board discussion took place regarding fund equity and forming sub committee’s for HR, Finance and Curriculum.
C. Human Resources –Superintendent Gray reported on student enrollment. D. Board Reports – Secretary Minert announced touring Miller Tot Spot and
that Livingston recognized it as the best place to send kids two years in a row, also she will be attending PD at Hawkins.
Trustee Burchfield announced a hiring process meeting will take place
Thursday, August 27, 2015. Also, thanked Athletic Director John Thompson and Superintendent Gray for attending the fall coaches meeting and for the strategy session on youth sports.
Dr. Chesney provided an update on the technology grant. E. Bond Report – Treasurer Stahl updated the board and community on
district facilities with a slide presentation of pictures. Trustee Trombley inquired if a penalty to Auch will be implemented for not meeting completion dates on projects.
