ConnectingtheDevicePlugtheUSBMouseandKeyboardintothehub,thenplugthehubintotheUSBsocketofthetabletdevice(theonenotlabelledOTG).Pluginthenetworkingport,thenfinallypluginthepower.Thedevicewillstarttobootandoncebootedyouwillbepresentedwithascreenthatlooksliketheimagetothebelow.

ConfigureNetworkingRightclickthemousetobringuptheAndroidHomescreen.Clickthe“Apps”buttonandchoose“Settings”.Under“Settings”choose“Ethernet”andfromthereyoucanclick“StaticIPSettings”ifyouneedtoconfigureyournetworkmanually.

ConfiguretheSoftwareWhentheapplicationhasopened,tripleleftclickonthebluebarabovethecameraimage.Thisshouldcausethesettingsfortheapplicationtoappearasshowntotheright.Ifneeded,changethesettingstoappearastheyareshownintheimage.Oncecomplete,clicktheconfirmbutton.Thecamerascreenshouldthenreappearshowingthenumberoffacesloadedinthelocaldatabaseatthebottomofthescreen.

CreatingtheDataNowtheterminalhassuccessfullyconnected,nextcreatethedatafortheterminaltouse.GototheURLhttps://monkeyking.deepcam.com.au.Youwillhavebeenprovidedwithausernameandpasswordtologinwith.Ifnot,pleasecontactyoursupplier.Beforeaddingthedevices,weneedtoaddanynecessary“DeviceGroups”CreatingaDeviceGroupDevicegroupsareusedtoassociatedevicestogethersothattheycansharesubjects(facestorecognise).Eachdevicecanonlybelongtoonedevicegroup,butsubjectscanbelongtomultipledevicegroups.Tocreateadevicegroupclickthe“DeviceGroupList”menuitemonthelefthandsideofthebrowser.

ReportingThereare2differenttypesofreportingavailablefromthesystem.AccessRecordsThefirstisthe“Accessrecords”report,whichcanbeusedtoreportonwhenasubjectwaslastseenbythesystem,orifadevice’s“uploadmode”issetto“UploadSubject&Visitor”,itwillshowallfacesdetectedwhetherthey’rerecognisedasasubjectornot.Accessrecordscanbefilteredbydevicegroup,device,uploadtype,roleanddaterange.FaceAttendanceThesecondisthe“FaceAttendance”report,whichcanbeusedtoviewasubject’sattendancerecordsandwhetherornottheyclockedinandoutsuccessfully.Faceattendancerecordscanbefilteredbymonthandrole.
