Humpolec is a small town located approximately in the middle of the Czech Republic. From the capital city of Prague are located within 100 km. Region, which lies Humpolec called Highlands. Our city has a total population of 10,915. 7.A, 5.A - Z Hradsk Humpolec 4

He was renowned anthropologist and a doctor. He spent most of his life abroad, but has always been a patriot and support in all circumstances, his Czech homeland, and Czech immigrants in the USA.Always found him a helping hand. A genius of the creators of the Czech music was born in the village Kalit near Humpolec. The composer worked as a conductor in Vienna and became a local maker of Fame Court Opera and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. he worked in Prague, Olomouc and in other cities. His song units using the widely popular tunes and a very extensive and demanding full-length symphonies are among the treasures of world art.
