Northgate Mall is located in northern King County in Seattle.

Sound Transit will open the Northgate Link Light RailStation in 2021, connecting Northgate Mall with theUniversity of Washington, downtown Seattle, and

SeaTac Airport.

Sound Transit is investing $174 million in theNorthgate Link Light Rail Station and $1.9 billion onthis portion of the rail system.

With access to downtown in only 14 minutes,ridership is expected to be 22,000 per day.

The mall's neighborhood has been designated by thecity of Seattle as a future regional mixed-use hub. Thecity's goal is to add up to 2,500 residential unitswithin two blocks of the station.

In 2016, Northgate Mall added a convenient 750-stallparking deck on the mall's west side, in front ofNordstrom, to mitigate impact on our shoppers dueto construction of the station.
