In the month of August at St. John’s Outreach, we shifted gears.
With the chaos and constant changes since March, we took the time
to regroup and reorganize. We began serving clients again for food,
diapers and formula on September 8. We expect to be very busy
judging by the phone calls and drive ups we have encountered the
last few weeks. We appreciate all the assistance from parishioners.
It has made a major difference in our ability to continue to serve
clients who are struggling more each day.

John’s cambiamos de marcha. Con el caos y los cambios constantes
desde marzo, nos tomamos el tiempo para reagruparnos y

Food PantryAlthough any food or toiletry items/diapers are
greatly appreciated, here are some items that are low.
Canned Peas, Cornbread Mix, Bath Soap
If possible, please bring donations to the Food Pantry during
their open hours.● Monday & Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.●
Tuesday & Thursday: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
If that's not possible, please bring non-perishable items to the
Admin Building during open hours.● Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. –
5:00 p.m.● Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.● Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00
p.m.
After hours, cash and gift cards can be placed in an envelope
with Food Pantry noted on the front, and placed in mail slot near
the front doors of the Admin Building. Please do not leave
perishable items outside the Administration Building.

are reaching out to our parishioners.

help. However, St. John the Apostle can only continue to meet that

2020 Census
Catholics in the Diocese of Fort Worth are urged by Bishop
Michael Olson to complete the 2020 census if they have not done so.
The complete census count is used to determine how many
congressional seats are divided between states, to fund special
education, classroom technology and after school programs, as well
as to determine how much federal funding will be available in local
communities to assist the least fortunate among us.You can take the
census by going to my2020census.gov.
Cub Scouts Pack Meeting: Fall FunSeptember 21, 2020: 6:00 p.m. -

We will be recognizing advancements from our dens (K-5) and
engaging in fun fall activities to include some that teach the
principles of “Leave No Trace.” We have an upcoming service project
and camp-out so we will be finalizing details.
