1. Earth Friendly Camping GearIf your dad is the rustic type, and enjoys camping trips, hiking, and sleeping under the stars, then we have just the gift idea for him- eco camping gear! There are a variety of sleeping bags, tents, and outdoor gear that are made from recycled material. Team that up with some eco-friendly cookware, a water bottle, and utensils, and your dad will be set for a truly green trek into the woods.
2. Reusable Stainless Steel Lunch KitThis gift idea is
practical and cost e ective for the
dad in your life. There is nothing worse than using plastic tupperware for lunch. Plastic can often leach into your food, and nobody wants that!
Try getting your dad a super-cool stainless steel lunch kit. You can nd ones that come in food containers of 2 or 3, stack on top of each other, and snap together for easy transport to-
and-from work.
3. Healthy snack gift bagDepending on
whether your dad is a salty or
sweet kinda guy, you can cater his snack bag accordingly. If he is into sweets, then stock up on a variety of organic dried fruits, just be sure to read the label, the only ingredient should be the fruit and nothing else. Another alternative is to bake him some healthy cookies. Check out our gluten free cookie recipe on page 2, made with coconut oil and quinoa our! If he is into
salty foods try and get him healthy crackers, pickled vegetables, smoked salmon and a few cheeses. These items are usually always available at farmer’s markets, so be sure to check one out near you.
4. FlowersYes, we said Flowers! If the dad in your life
appreciates nature, then he is
sure to love some fresh owers or a plant to liven up his home or o ce space. So, what kind of owers should you consider this Father’s Day? How about fresh-cut, spring owers for that lucky dad on your list? Carnations, Irises, Hydrangeas, Sun owers and Tulips are beautiful and low maintenance. Buy or pick a few of each and make your own bouquet for dad.
