TREATMENT Eating disorders are a psychiatric

disorder so professional help is needed in order to recover.

People with eating disorders are never CURED – just like a drug addict or alcohol – they can recover and lead a healthy and normal life – but it will always be there.

Some consequences require treatment and additional medical help for the years to come – even after a person with an eating disorder has initially received help.
