THE STUDENTS RECEIVE A GRADE FOR HOMEWORK!
• Students will be bringing home math facts starting next week. The students will take a math facts test on Friday of each week.

Reporting Progress to Parents
•Daily - Any thing less than a 70 is stamped and sent home for a parent signature.
•Weekly – Take Home Bags
•Bi – weekly - Test Papers are sent home with a reflection log sheet for parents to sign and return.
•Mid – Term – Copy, sign, and return
•Grade Cards – Copy, sign, and return
•Make Up Work or Incomplete Work – Completed and return within 3 days.

Beginning with the 2011-2012 school year, a student in the third grade shall not bepromoted to the next grade level unless the student has shown a basic understanding ofcurriculum and ability to perform the skills required in the subject of reading as demonstratedby the student's grades or standardized test results. However, such student may bepromoted if the student participates in an LEA approved research-based intervention prior tothe beginning of the next school year. This section shall not apply to students who have IEPspursuant to 20 U.S. C.§ 1400 et seq.
