    VII. Blocks

    What are the blocks for?

Blocks are used to divide the procedures in groups of steps. Without blocks, the

lists of steps can sometimes be too long and difficult to read. The blocks group the

steps in a logical way, without changing their sequence.

    How to group the steps?

There is no one single logical rule to group the steps in blocks. The only intangible

rule is that the blocks should not alter the sequence of the steps.

The following logics are examples of how to group the steps:

Steps with the same entity in charge

Steps that concur for the same result

Steps whose result is of the same nature

These examples are not exhaustive, other logics, as long as they are

understandable for the users and that they do not complicate the presentation ofthe procedure, may be applied.

How to create and modify blocks?

The blocks are created exactly the same way as objectives. The only difference is

that create a block with Add block.

The blocks are ordered like the objectives.

Blocks are another element of thetree:

the blocks are inserted in theobjectives, and

the steps are inserted in theblocks.
