B.GAMEDAYDIVISION1. AllNon-USASchoolTeamsareeligibletoperform

intheGameDayChampionshipsforarankingandforaWorldGameDayNationsRankingAward.

2. Allnon-USAteamcompetingintheGameDayChampionshipswillperformtheirroutineduringtheUSANationalGamedayFinals,willbeawardedaplacementtrophyspecificallywithintheUSNationalFinalsandwillreceiveaNationsRankingAwardbasedontheirperformance.

3. ForteamwantingtoparticipateintheGameDayChampionshipspleaseaddanadditional$20USDperparticipant.ForteamsthatchoosetoparticipateintheWorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionshipsANDadvanceintotheGameDayNationalFinals,everyeffortwillbemadetoaccommodateconflictsinperformancetime;however,cannotbeguaranteed.

4. AttheGameDayChampionships,teamswillberespondingtoaudiocuesreflectiveofsportingevents,suchasAmericanFootballandBasketballgamestoperformtheirrespectivesegmentofGameDay.

5. GameDayDivisionsmustfollowalleventrulesandregulations.SeesectionXIIIfordivisionspecificsandrestrictions.

requirementsoftheNationalHighSchoolCheerleadingChampionships,non-USAindividuals/teamsmustfollowtheprimary,juniorandsecondaryschoolsportrequirementsoftheirrespectivecountries.Additionally,VarsityDivisionagesarelimitedto18yearsoryoungerwithintheyearofcompetition(exception:InternationalSeniorClub)orasspecified,and14yearsandyoungerfortheJuniorSchoolDivision.

2. AllmembersoftheCheerleadingteammustbecurrentmembersoftheofficialschoolspiritteamand

mustbestudentsoftheschoolthattheyarerepresenting.(Exception:Thiswillnotprecludeparticipationfromsisterschoolsforsame-genderschoolsaslongastheyareofficialmembersoftheteamasnotedabove.)

3. Theteamandeachparticipatingmember/coachshouldconstantlydisplaygoodsportsmanshipthroughouttheentireperformanceinregardtorespectforthemselves,otherteamsandtheviewingaudienceofallages.

4. Werecommendthattheteamandeachofitsmembersdisplayanoverallappearanceconducivetoservingaspublicrepresentativesandambassadorsoftheirschools/programs-inregardstogrooming,traditionalandappropriateattire,conservativemake-up/cosmetics,uniformity,etc.

D.UNIFORMGUIDELINES1. Allparticipantuniformsmustcoverthemidriff

whenstandingatattention.Coveredmidriffdoesincludeflesh-colored/nude-coloredbodysuitsandliners;however,fringedoesnotsufficealoneasacoveredmidriff.

2. Anyteaminviolationoftheuniformguidelineswillbeassesseda5pointdeduction.

3. Atraditionalsidelineuniform(thatcoversthemidriffwhenstandingatattentionandhasanelementthatisidentifiabletoyouschool/organization-e.g.colors,logos,lettersmascot,etc.)isrequiredforallGameDaydivisions.

4. Bowsshouldnotbeexcessiveinsizeandshouldn’tbeadistractiontotheperformance.Bowsshouldbeworninamannertominimizeriskfortheathletes,shouldbeadequatelysecuredonthebackoftheheadwiththetalesfacingdownandshouldnotfallovertheforeheadintotheathlete’seyeorblocktheviewoftheathleteswhileperforming.A.25pointdeductionwillbeaccessedforteamsinviolationofthisrule.

E. TIMELIMITATIONS1. ROUTINEONLY:

a. Eachperformanceroutine’spresentationmustincludeatleast1cheerand/orsidelinechant(useofnativelanguageincheerand/orsidelinechantencouraged).Themusicalportionmustnotexceedoneminuteandthirtyseconds(1:30).Thetotaltimelimitistwominutesandthirtyseconds(2:30).Timingwillbeginwiththefirstmovement,voiceornoteofmusic,whichevercomesfirst.

b. Theroutinetimelimitis2:30.Acknowledgingthepotentialvariancecausebyhumanreactionseedandsoundsystemtimevariations,judgeswillnotissueadeductionuntiltheirstopwatchesshowatimeof2:33.

2. GAMEDAYONLY:a. EachGameDayperformancemustinclude1Band

Chant/Dance,1SituationalSideline,1TimeOutCheerand1FightSong.(useofnativelanguageinallGameDaysegmentsisencouraged).

b. Emphasisisoncrowdinvolvement,showcasingthebestGameDaycrowd-leadingmaterial.Theuseofsigns,poms,flagsand/ormegaphones-inthenativeteam’slanguageisencouraged.

c. TheGameDaymaximumperformancetimemustnotexceedthree(3)minutes.Timingwillnotincludetheteamspiriting,rallyingorindividualsperformingjumps,kicksortumbling,butwillbeginwiththefirstmovement,voice,ornoteofmusic-whichevercomesfirst.

3. Ifateamexceedsthetimelimit,apenaltywillbeaccessedforeachviolation.Three(3)pointdeductionfor1-5secondsover,Five(5)pointdeductionfor6-10secondsover,andSeven(7)pointdeductionfor11secondsandover.

4. Acknowledgingthepotentialvariancecausedbyhumanreactionspeedandsoundsystemtimevariations,judgeswillnotissueadeductionuntil3secondsovertheallowedtime.

5. BECAUSEPENALTIESARESEVERE,ITISRECOMMENDEDTHATALLTEAMSTIMETHEIRPERFORMANCESEVERALTIMESPRIORTOCOMPETITIONANDLEAVEASEVERALSECONDCUSHIONTOALLOWFORVARIATIONSINSOUNDEQUIPMENT.

6. Introductions:a. Allintroductions(tumbling,entrances,chants,

spell-outs,etc.)areconsideredpartoftheroutineandwillbetimedaspartoftheperformance.

b. Allteambreaks,ritualsandtraditionsneedtotakeplacepriortoenteringtheperformancesurface.

c. Teamsshouldtakethefloorimmediatelywithspiritandenthusiasm,butwithoutexcessivegestures.Stuntsarenotallowedduringtheteam’sentrytothefloororatanytimepriortothestartoftheperformance.Examples:Stunts,runningoftheflags,chestbumps,hugs,handshakes,etc.

d. Allteamsshallrefrainfromanytypeofexcessivecelebrationfollowingtheteam’sperformance.Anyteaminviolationwillreceivea1pointdeduction.

e. ThereshouldnotbeanyorganizedexistsorotheractivitiesaftertheofficialendingoftheRoutineorGameDayperformance.

F.MUSIC1. Forthe2020WSCC,allUSAteamsmustfollow

theUSANationalGoverningBody“USACheer”guidelines(www.usacheer.net)andnon-USAteamswillhavethechoiceofthe“USACheer”guidelines(www.usacheer.net)orICUguidelines(www.cheerunion.org)MusicCopyrightsInitiative.

2. Withinaccordanceoftheseguidelines,IhavereadandunderstandtheUSACheerorICUMusicCopyrightsEducationalInitiativeandallsoundrecordingsusedinourteam’smusicshallonlybeusedwithwrittenlicensefromtheowners(s)ofthesoundrecordings.

3. Teamsmustbeabletoprovideproofoflicensing,intheformofaprintedcopy,duringregistrationattheeventtheyareattending.

4. Shouldateamselecttoperformtoanoriginalmusicrecordingfortheroutine-anditisfeaturedinatelevisionbroadcast,yourmusicmaybeusedifSynchronizationRightsarealsosecured.TeamsmustbeabletoprovideproofofSynchronizationRights,intheformofaprintedcopy,duringregistrationattheeventfortheoriginalroutinemusictobeincludedinthetelevisionbroadcast.

5. Whenrecordingmusicforyourteam’sperformance,coachesand/ormusiceditorsshouldedittheirsonginaDigitalAudioWorkstation(DAW)andshouldbesurethatthevolumeofthesongisat0.Additionalnotableitemsinclude:• MostDAWshaveadefaultthatsetsatrackat

-6whenatrackisadded• Checktoseeifthereisanormalization

processafteryourenderorsaveyourwork6. Shouldateamselecttoperformtotheschool’s

originalFightSong,theteammaybringarecordingoftheschool’sMarchingBandplayingtheFightSong;however,aletterofpermissionfortheteamtousethesongandrecordingontheschool’sofficialletterheadmustbeprovided.Thelettermustbesignedbytheschool’sassignedteamadministrator.

7. Ifateamdoesnothaveproofofmusiclicensingavailable,theywillbeallowedtoperformtoanoptionalapprovedtrackofmusicoratrackwithcounts(providedbyWSCC).

8. Ifateamcannotprovideproofoflicensing,anddonotperformtoanoptionalapprovedtrackofmusicortocounts,theteamwillbedisqualifiedfromthecompetition.

9. Ifthereareconcernsregardingacertainteam’suseofmusic,aChallengeFormmustbecompletedimmediatelyfollowingtheteam’sperformance.

10. Achallengecanonlybemadebytheofficialcoachofateamcompetingattheeventatwherethechallengeisbeingmade.

11. ChallengeProcess:a. Allmusicchallengesmustbesubmittedinwriting

totheeventdirector.b. Therewillbe$100feetorequestamusic

challengeandmustbeintheformofacheckmadeouttoStJudeChildren’sResearchHospital.

c. Feescollectedwillbevoidedifchallengeiscorrect.

d. Iftheteamchallengedcanprovidedocumentationduringtheeventandcanbeverified,thefeeswillbedonatedtoSt.Jude.

e. Iftheteamchallengedcanprovidedocumentationthatrequiresfurtherreview,adecisionwillbefinalizedwithin48hoursoftheevent.

12. Eachteamisrequiredtohavearesponsibleadultremainatthemusicstationthatknowstheroutineandmusic.Therepresentativeisresponsibleforstartingandstoppingthemusicandstoppingthemusicincaseoftechnicalmalfunctionorinjury.Clarification:Athletes,includingalternates,arenotallowed.

13. AllteamsmustprovidetheirownCDorMP3deviceforuseonthesoundsystemprovidedfortheevent.MusicmustberecordedatthecorrecttempoonahighqualityCDorloadedontoanMP3device.

14. ItisnotrecommendedthataSmartPhoneisusedforplayingroutinemusic,duetothehighprobabilityofmusicinterferenceduringtheroutine.

15. MP3devicesmustbefreeofanycover(protective,decorativeorotherwise)toassureanunobstructedconnectionwiththeeventsoundsystem.

16. Itisimportant(ifapplicable)thatalldeviceshaveaheadphoneconnectioncomponent/jacktoconnecttosoundsystemandthatalldevicesarefullycharged,volumeturnedupandplacedinairplanemode.ForteamsusingCD,itisimportantthattheCDisunscratchedtopreventamusicmalfunctionwhileinplay.

17. Alldeviceconnectioncomponents/jacksmustbecleanandfreeofanydebristopreventamusicmalfunction.Shouldateam’sdevicenothavea

headphoneconnectioncomponent/jack,thentheteammusthaveanadapter,toaccommodatethisdevicerequirement,onsiteforthecompetition.

18. MusiconaCDmustbelabeledwiththeteamname,division,andnumberofathletesontheteam.One(1)ormoreselectionsofmusicmaybeusedwithinaccordanceoftherulesenclosedherein,andbasedonhigherprobablyoftechnicalerrorsofCDs,teamsmustalsohavetheirroutinemusiconanMP3deviceforbackup.

19. TeamsmaynotuseDisneythemesnormayhavecostumesthatresembleaDisneycharacter.However,Disneymusicisacceptableiffollowingthemusicguidelines.

G.COMPETITIONPERFORMANCEAREA1. Participantsmuststartinthecompetitionarea

withatleastonefootontheground.2. Teamsmaylineupanywhereinsidethe

competitionarea.3. TheWSCCcomplieswiththeNFHS&USACheer

surfacerulesthatschoolbasedprogramsmaynotcompeteonaspringfloor.

4. Approximatefloorsizewillbe42feetx54feet/12.8metersx16.5meters.(9strips)

5. ThesurfacewillbeatraditionalfoamCheerleadingmat.

6. Anyteammembersteppingoutsidetheperformanceareawillcausetheteamtoreceivea.5pointpenaltyperoccurrence.a. Thewhitelineisconsideredthewarning

mark.b. ApenaltywillbeassessedwhenanyONEfull

hand,footorbodyparttouchesoutsidetheperformancesurface.

c. Onceateammembertakesthefloor,theathletesmustremainontheflooruntiltheendoftheperformance.

7. Signsorpropsmaybesafelyplacedordroppedoutsideofthecompetitionareabyateammember,buttheteammembermustremaininsidethecompetitionarea.AONE(1.0)pointpenaltywillbeassessedforProps(signs,etc.)thataremadeofsolidmaterialsorhavesharpedges/cornersreleasedbyatopperson.AHALF(0.5)pointpenaltywillbeassessedforpersonsonthegroundthrowinghardprops(signs,megaphones,etc.)–breakingofthewristorifthearmextendsawayfromthebody.

8. Allprops,centermarkets,etc.areprohibited.Thecenterofallperformancesurfaceswillbemarkedthroughoutthecompetition.

H.WORLDSCHOOLCHEERLEADINGCHAMPIONSHIPSPARTICIPATION

1. AllWorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionshipsdivisionsareopentotheNationalHighSchoolCheerleadingChampionshipteamseligiblebyscheduletoparticipate;aswellastoallnon-USAschoolteamswhoareeligiblebytheWSCCrulesoftheirrespectivedivisions.

2. ItisunderstoodthatteamsparticipatingintheWorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionships(WSCC)willnotknowinglyandwillinglyparticipateinanyothereventpromotedasa“WorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionships”.(Exception:Approvedmulti-sportinternationaleventscongruentwiththeWorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionshipsandInternationalSportAuthorityorganizations).Teamswhodonotadherewillbedisqualifiedforthe2020WorldSchoolCheerleadingCupChampionshipsandwillforfeittheopportunitytoparticipateinthetournamentthefollowingyear.

I.LOGOUSAGETeamswillnotbeallowedtousetheWSCClogoincluding:banners,rings,bows,t-shirts,etc.withoutpriorapprovalfromtheWSCCoffice.TheuseoftheWSCCletterswillbeallowed.

J. MEDIAPOLICY

Nocommercialrecording(audioorvisual)orcommerciallivestreamingisallowedintheeventvenueorotherevent-relatedvenues(includingbutnotlimitedto,hotelsandrestaurants)oronthegroundsofanysuchvenues(collectively,“EventLocations”.IntheeventateamauthorizesthecommercialrecordingorstreaminginanyEventLocation,theteamwillbeautomaticallydisqualified.Inaddition,thepersonal,non-commercialuseoflivestreamingapps(suchasPeriscope,FacebookLive,etc.)tocapturealloranypartofaperformanceduringtheeventisnotpermitted.Byattending/purchasingadmissiontotheevent,eachattendeegrantspermissiontoWSCCaswellasthehostingorganizer,NHSCC,anditsaffiliates,designees,agents,licenseesandinviteestousetheimage,likeness,actionandstatementsoftheattendeeinanyliveorrecordedaudio,video,film,orphotographicdisplayorothertransmission,exhibition,publication,orreproductionmadeof,orat,theeventinanymedium,whethernowknownorhereaftercreated,orcontextforanypurpose,includingcommercialorpromotionalpurposes,withoutfurtherauthorizationorcompensation.

K. SPOTTERPOLICYInanefforttopromoteahigherlevelofsafetyforcompetitionathletes,WSCCwillprovideadditionalspottersallcheer,clubandreccompetitionsforthemainfloor

Guidelines:1. WSCCCompetitionprovidedadditionalspotters

willbemandatoryonthecompetitionfloor.2. Alimitednumberofadditionalspottersmaybe

availableuponcoaches’requestinrehearsal/warmup.

DefinitionofAdditionalSpotter:Individualsonthecompetitionfloorareprovidedasasafetyprecautiontospotcertainelementsofaroutine.Competition-provided“AdditionalSpotters”willfollowthelistedguidelines:

AdditionalSpotters:1. Shouldonlybeusedduringthestunt,pyramid,

and/orbaskettosssections.Additionalspottersarepresentforaddedsafetyandshouldstandatthebackofthefloorwhennotspottingthosesectionsoftheroutine.

2. Shouldnottouch,assistorsaveskillsbeingperformed.Additionalspottersshouldonlybeusedtopreventafalltothecompetitionfloor.Anytouch,assist,orsavedskillwillhaveanegativeaffectontheteam’sscorepertheWSCCscoringandjudgingguidelines.

3. Shouldbedressedsothattheyarepresentable,professional,anddistinguishablefromtheperformingathletes.

4. Shouldnotdressoractinamannerthatdistractsfromtheathletesandtheirperformance.

5. Shouldbeatleast18yearsoldandfamiliarwithspottingandtheskillsoftheperformingteam.

Note:Toprovidethesafestcompetitiveenvironment,teamsshouldnotattemptskillsbeyondtheirabilitylevel.II. INTERRUPTIONOFPERFORMANCEA. UNFORSEENCIRCUMSTANCES1.If,intheopinionofthecompetitionofficials,a

team’sroutineisinterruptedbecauseoffailureofthecompetitionequipment,facilities,orotherfactorsattributabletothecompetitionratherthantheteam,theteamaffectedshouldSTOPtheroutine.

2. Theteamwillperformtheroutineagaininitsentirety,butwillbeevaluatedONLYfromthe

pointwheretheinterruptionoccurred.Thedegreeandeffectoftheinterruptionwillbedeterminedbythecompetitionofficials.B. FAULTOFTEAM1. Intheeventateam’sroutineisinterruptedbecause

offailureoftheteam’sownequipment,theteammusteithercontinuetheroutineorwithdrawfromthecompetition.

2. Thecompetitionofficialswilldetermineiftheteamwillbeallowedtoperformatalatertime.Ifdecidedbyofficials,theteamwillperformtheroutineagaininitsentirety,butwillbeevaluatedONLYfromthepointwheretheinterruptionoccurred.

C.INJURY1. Theonlypersonsthatmaystoparoutineforinjury

are:a)competitionofficials,b)theadvisor/coachfromtheteamperformingorc)aninjuredindividual.

2. Thecompetitionofficialswilldetermineiftheteamwillbeallowedtoperformatalatertime.Ifthecompetitionofficialsallowaroutinetobeperformedatalatertime,thespotintheschedulewherethere-performanceistotakeplaceisatthesolediscretionofcompetitionofficials.Theteammayperformtheroutineagaininitsentirety,butwillbeevaluatedONLYfromthepointwheretheinterruptionoccurred.

3. Theinjuredparticipantthatwishestoperformmaynotreturntothecompetitionfloorunless:a. Thecompetitionofficialsreceiveclearancefrom,

first,themedicalpersonnelattendingtothatparticipant,theparent(ifpresent)ANDTHENtheheadcoach/advisorofthecompetingteam.

b. Ifthemedicalpersonneldonotcleartheparticipant,theparticipantcanonlyreturntothecompetitionifaparentorlegalguardianinattendancesignsareturntoparticipationwaiver.

c. Anyathletewhoexhibitssignsorsymptomsconsistentwithconcussionshouldberemovedfromtheactivityimmediatelyandwillnotbeallowedparticipate(i)within24hoursoftheincidentAND(ii)withoutfirstbeingclearedbyamedicalprofessionaltrainingconcussionmanagement.

d. InadditiontotheWSCCheadinjurypolicy,allteammanagement(coaches,directors,teamadministrators&teamstaff,etc.)mustbefamiliarwiththefederal,stateandlocallawsapplicabletosuchindividualsandrelatingtosuchindividuals’dutiesandresponsibilitiesregardingtherecognitionandtreatmentofinjuries.

III.HOWTOHANDLEPROCEDURALQUESTIONSA. RULES&PROCEDURESAnyquestionsconcerningtherulesorproceduresofthecompetitionwillbehandledexclusivelybythedirector/coachoftheteamandwillbedirectedtotheCompetitionDirector.Suchquestionsshouldbemadepriortotheteam’scompetitionperformance.B. PERFORMANCEAnyquestionsconcerningtheteam’sperformanceshouldbemadetotheCompetitionDirectorimmediatelyaftertheteam’sperformanceand/orfollowingtheoutcomeofthecompetition.C. MUSICAnyquestionsconcerningaspecificviolationinmusiccompliancemustbesubmittedinwritingtotheCompetitionDirectorimmediatelyfollowingtheteam’sperformance.

IV.INTERPRETATIONSAND/ORRULINGSAnyinterpretationofanyaspectoftheseRulesandRegulationsand/oranydecisioninvolvinganyotheraspectofthecompetition-willberenderedbytheRulesCommittee.TheRulesCommitteewillrenderajudgmentinanefforttoensurethatthecompetitionproceedsinamannerconsistentwiththegeneralspiritandgoalsofthecompetition.TheRulesCommitteewillconsistoftheCompetitionDirector,HeadJudge,andadesignatedcompetitionofficial.V.SPORTSMANSHIP1. Allparticipantsagreetoconductthemselvesina

mannerdisplayinggoodsportsmanshipthroughoutthecompetitionwithpositivepresentationuponentryandexitfromtheperformanceareaaswellasthroughouttheroutine.

2. Theadvisorandcoachofeachteamareresponsibleforseeingthatteammembers,coaches,parentsandotherpersonsaffiliatedwiththeteamconductthemselvesaccordingly.Severecasesofunsportsmanlikeconductaregroundsfordisqualification.

3. Whenacoachisindiscussionwithanofficial,othercoaches,athletesandparents/spectators;thecoachmustmaintainproperprofessionalconduct.Failingtodosomayresultina1.0deduction,removalofthecoachordisqualification.

VI.EVENTRULESVIOLATIONSAnyteaminviolationoftheseRulesandRegulationsoranyoftheabovementionedguidelineswillbeassessedaten(10)pointdeductionforeachviolation.Thisdeductiondoesnotapplytodeductionsorviolationswithinthepointdeductionsystem.VII.DISQUALIFICATIONAnyteamthatdoesnotadheretothetermsandproceduresofthese“RulesandRegulations”willbesubjecttodisqualificationfromthecompetition,willautomaticallyforfeitanyrighttoanyprizesorawardspresentedbythecompetition.VIII.FINALITYOFDECISIONSByparticipatinginthischampionship,eachteamagreesthatdecisionbythejudgeswillbefinalandresultsmayONLYbereviewedforclarification.Eachteamacknowledgesthenecessityforthejudgestomakepromptandfairdecisionsinthiscompetitionandeachteamthereforeexpresslywaivesanylegal,equitable,administrativeorproceduralreviewofsuchdecisions.IX.SCORESANDRANKINGS1. Individualscoresheetsarefortheexclusiveuseof

eachparticularjudge.Eachjudgehastheresponsibilityandauthoritytoreviewandsubmithisorherfinalscoresandrankingspriortothefinaltallyofthescoreforallteams.Scoresandrankingswillbeavailableonlytoadvisorsorcoachesattheconclusionofthecompetition.Judges’decisionsarefinal.

X.AWARDSANDPRIZESAllteamsinthefinalroundofcompetitionwillreceiveatrophy.Teamswhorankfirst(1st),second(2nd),orthird(3rd)placewilladditionallyreceiveagold,silver,orbronzemedallion.Teamsplacingfirstwillreceiveachampionshipbannerandjacketforeachparticipantwhoperformedonthefloorplustwo(2)coaches.Basedonavailability,rosteredalternatesmayrequestadditionaljacketsafterthecompletionofourfinalawardssessionsonSundayevening.

XI.JUDGINGPROCEDURES1. CHEERCOMPETITIONROUTINES

a. ThejudgeswillscoreteamsusingthecriterialistedontheWSCCscoresheet.Eachteamwillbeevaluatedona100-pointsystem.

b. TheCheerportionwillbevaluedatapossible35points(nativelanguageisencouraged)and65pointsfortheMusicsectionoftheroutine.Eachsectionwillbeaveragedandthencombinedforthefinalscore.

2. GAMEDAYCOMPETITIONROUTINES

a. TheGameDayChampionshipsshowcaseswhattraditionalcheerleadingisallabout-leadingthecrowd!Teamswillbeevaluatedontheirabilitytoleadthecrowd,propergamedayskillincorporations/performance,motion/danceandoverallroutine.

b. Theperformancewillfollowthisorder:BandChant,SituationalSideline,Cheer,followedbytheFightSong.

c. Theuseofcrowdleadingtoolssuchassigns,poms,flagsand/ormegaphonesisrequired.(nativelanguageisencouraged)

d. TheincorporationofstuntsandtumblingareonlyallowedintheFightSong,SituationalSidelineandCheer.Stuntsarenotallowedasatransitionbefore/betweensections.Thiswouldincludetheteam’sentryontothefloor,betweentheSituationalSidelineandCheer,andanytimepriortostartingtheperformance.NOTE:Fightsongincorporationislimitedto3consecutive8-countsofstuntsand/ortumbling.Ifthefightsongrepeats,theincorporationwillonlybeallowedbothtimesifitisrepeatedexactlythesamebothtimes.Countingwillbeginwiththefirstinitiationofaskillandwillcontinueuntileithertheincorporationiscompleteortheendofthethird8count.

e. TheBandChantshouldhaveanemphasisoncrowdappealandpracticality–Nostuntingortumblingispermitted;however,jumpsandkickswillbeallowed.

f. FollowingcompletionoftheBandChant,theannouncerwillprovidetheTeamperformingaSportingEvent/Gamescenarioindicatingan

offenseordefensesituation.Teamsshouldshowtheirdefinitiveunderstandingofthesituationwithanoffensiveordefensivecrowd-leadingresponse.

g. ThejudgeswillscoreteamsusingthecriterialistedontheWSCCGameDayscoresheet.Eachteamwillbeevaluatedona100-pointsystem.

h. TheSituationalSideline&Cheerwillcountfor50points(ofthe100-pointstotalscore)andtheBandChant&FightSong(collectively)willcountfor50points(ofthe100-pointstotalscore).Eachsectionwillbecombinedforthefinalscore.(100totalpointspossible)

i. Eachsectionshouldhaveabeginningandanend.Note:Spiritedcrowdleadinginteractionsbetweeneachsectionisencouragedtocontinuethegamedayfeelingandexperience;however,stuntsarenotallowedwithinatransitionbefore/betweensections.Thiswouldincludetheteam’sentryontothefloorandanytimepriortothestartoftheperformance.

9. Visualimpairment:Visionisimpactedbyeitheranimpairmentoftheeyestructure,opticalnervesoropticalpathways,orthevisualcortex.

10.IntellectualImpairment:Alimitationinintellectualfunctioningandadaptivebehaviourasexpressedinconceptual,socialandpracticaladaptiveskills,whichoriginatesbeforetheageof18.

XVI.WORLDSCHOOLCHEERLEADINGCHAMPIONSHIPSPARTICIPATIONItisunderstoodthatteamsparticipatingintheWorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionshipswillnotknowinglyandwillinglyparticipateinanyothereventpromotedata“WorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionships”oranequivalentlynamedevent.(Exception:Approvedmulti-sportinternationaleventscongruentwiththeWorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionshipsandInternationalSportAuthorityorganizations).Teamswhodonotadherewillbesubjecttodisqualificationandwillforfeittheopportunitytoparticipateinthetournamentthefollowingyear.

WideWorldofSports®Complex.2. Thetournamentofficialsshallhavetherighttoalter

3. Sunday(allday)willhosttheWorldSchoolCheerleadingChampionships(WSCC)comprisingofUnitedStatesteams(divisionsmentionedpreviously)
