NORMAL POWER FACTOR (N OR NPF) BALLASTS:Quality Normal Power Factor ballasts are primarily used in installations where minimum space isavailable.

HIGH POWER FACTOR (H OR HPF) BALLASTS:Our standard High Power Factor ballasts carry a Class A sound rating and offer a Power Factorrating of .90 or better. High Power Factor ballasts consume less energy than Normal Power Factor(NPF) ballasts due to capacitive power factor correction.

ELECTRONIC (E OR ELB) BALLASTS:Our standard Electronic ballasts also carry a Class A sound rating and are quieter and lessexpensive to operate than High Power Factor (HPF) or Normal Power Factor (NPF) ballasts.Electronic ballasts are able to start lamps at lower temperatures and are more efficient than HighPower Factor ballasts due to high frequency operation.

DIMMING (D OR DIM) BALLASTS:Belfer is an authorized Lutron Dimming ballast OEM. Lutron provides one of the most popular andreliable Dimming ballasts in the industry. These ballasts provide a dimming range of 100% to10%. Although Lutron Dimming ballasts are standard in many of our products, other qualitydimming sources are available. Of course, the specification may indicate a particular type or brand of ballast suitablefor the installation. This may adjust costs and lead times for our products. At the customersrequest, we will also install ballasts supplied to us by an authorized ballast distributor. Ifrequested, we may also ship fluorescent products without ballasts.

BALLAST WARRANTIES:At Belfer, we supply the best grade of ballasts from top rated manufacturers. Ballasts are coveredby warranties issued by the ballast manufacturer. This warranty is passed through to ourcustomer. changing light and lighting effects to alcoves, task areas, accent areas and other tight spaces without the drawbacks, expense or constraints of conventional colored lighting methods.

iColor Cove is modular in design, and projects a soft-edge strip of light at a 110° beam angle. Each length of iColor Cove in an installation can be individually controlled either by the on-board controller or by an external controller. Using an external controller, a run of multiple iColor Cove units can be set to dynamic sequences such as the Chasing Rainbow, or synchronized to produce a soothing, uniform visual effect.

iColor Cove is available in fixed lengths of six (6) and twelve (12) inches. Each segment is cased in a low-profile, vented, molded plastic housing. The housing snaps directly into a one-piece mounting clip; there is no need to open the case to mount the segment. The mounting clips are indexed to lock the iColor Cove into place, allowing for the uniform alignment of multiple fixtures as well as the easy rotation of fixtures.

To connect to power and data, each segment is equipped with a three-pin header that attaches to a master cable, making installations with curves or complicated geometry easy to install. Each master cable is designed to be hardwired to a PDS-150e, which supplies power and data to all connected lights.

Pole mounted high performance floodlightingluminaires utilizing Ceramic Metal Halide lamps

High output pole mounted luminaires for illuminating large horizontal orvertical surfaces, roadways and parking areas. Asymmetrical forwardthrow distribution.

Housing/fitter: Heavy one piece die cast aluminum (minimum .125" thick)with swivel arm and internal full semi-specular anodized aluminumforward throw optical system. Swivel arm allows for horizontal to verticalaiming positions. Slip fitter and arm extensions are die cast aluminumsecured by six (6) socket head stainless steel set screws threaded intostainless steel inserts. Pole extension is extruded aluminum with a diecast aluminum cap.

Enclosure: Tempered clear glass, 3⁄16" thick, retained by one piece diecast aluminum frame, secured by four (4) captive socket head stainlesssteel screws threaded into stainless steel inserts. Fully gasketed forweather tight operation in any mounting orientation using a moldedsilicone rubber O-ring.

Electrical: Lampholders: Single ended porcelain G12, bi-pin with nickelplated contacts supplied with 250°C high temperature leads, rated 600V,pulse rated 5KV.Ballasts are located in the base of the selected BEGA pole and areavailable in 120V or 277V, HPF - specify.

Finish: Standard finish is an eight step process consisting of two coatsof black or white high solids, UV stabilized polyurethane, one with lighttexture over a phosphate base.Custom colors supplied on special order.

U.L. listed, suitable for wet locations.
