Alcoholics Anonymous ~Meetings are held in the Cardinal O’Connor Room: Monday – Friday at 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM Spanish –Thursday at 7:30 PM Ministry to the Homebound ~ If a family member is sick or homebound, call the Parish Office to arrange a home visit by Fr. Keane The Parish Counseling Network, provided by Catholic Charities offers short term counseling for parishioners in need. A small copay is required. Please contact the parish office for a referral.

RCIA If you know someone who is interested in becoming Catholic or wants to learn more about our faith, the Rite of Christian Initiation process will be beginning
soon. Also, Catholics who were baptized but never received Holy Communion or Confirmation can become a part

beginning on October 7th from 7-8:30 pm at “Mary’s Place” in the Rel Ed Center at 26 Hunter
Avenue, Highland Mills. If you are interested in learning more about
centering prayer to enhance and refresh your relationship with Jesus, this might
be just the place for you! This will be a very relaxed and welcoming
environment where all will be encouraged to learn more about how to approach prayer in this way.

“Tú, hombre de Dios, practica la justicia, la piedad, la fe, el amor, la constancia, la bondad. Pelea el buen combate de la fe, conquista la Vida eterna, a la que has sido llamado y en vista de la cual hiciste una magnífica profesión de fe, en presencia de numerosos testigos. Yo te ordeno que observes lo que está prescrito, manteniéndote sin mancha e irreprensible.”
Cada domingo, al ponernos de pie y profesar nuestra fe en el credo, renovamos nuestro compromiso, junto con todos los que veneran con nosotros. De esta forma no sólo recitamos lo que creemos, sino que nos asimos de nuevo al don de la vida eterna.
En muchas de sus cartas, San Pablo ofrece una letanía de virtudes a buscar, frutos que manifestar, y los elementos presentes en nuestra vida familiar cirstiana. Ya sea el himno de caridad en la carta enviada a los corintios, los frutos del espíritu a los gálatas, o los bloques de construcción a los colosenses, se nos dan las piedras de fundación para una vida cristiana sólida. La lista que se le ofrece a Timoteo hoy es para ser agregada a tantas otras.
