The New York State Fire Services Training Conference is in its 6th year and going strong! By utilizing attendee feedback, we hope to have created a conference that meets your needs. The Office of Fire Prevention and Control is dedicated to meet the training needs of the firefighters of New York. Opening session will be held in the Academy Auditorium beginning at 7pm on April 6th, 2018. Classes will begin at 8am on April 7th and conclude the afternoon of Sunday April 8th.

The New York State Academy of Fire Science is ever changing, growing and improving, as is this conference. With additional classes added to the schedule this year we strive to provide training for every member of the fire service. As an added benefit the training presented can be applied toward the training requirements outlined in PESH 1910.156. With eight courses to choose from, you are sure to find one that meets your needs. Students will be assigned to one class based on their course preference and availability.

For applicants to be accepted into their requested class they must meet all prerequisites listed and have a complete application. Incomplete applications will be rejected and returned to you for completion. Applications are due by March 9th, 2018. Applications should be e-mailed to [email protected].
