Making Miracles In Neonatal Care6th Annual Care Of The Sick Newborn ConferenceThe 6th Annual Care of the Sick Newborn Conference is a four-day conference for NICU healthcare professionals. Covering neonatal nutrition, development, respiratory care, and hot topics through educational presentations and workshops, this year’s conference combines basic physiology, evidence-based practice, and the most recent research findings. Attendees have the option of a variety of certifications on the first day of the conference: the S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner Course, PICC Line Certification Course, and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor Course, which is available in both English and Spanish.
You’re Invited!This conference is designed for neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, A.R.N.P.s, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals who care for newborns. It is designed for professionals of all experience levels – from entry-level to highly experienced. The conference can be customized by attendees to best serve their professional goals and certification requirements.
Credit InformationThe Jackson Health System Education and Development Department is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing, respiratory, and physical therapy education. A maximum of 28 contact hours will be granted for four-day attendance (a total of seven contact hours per day).

Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: What will I learn? A: Upon completion of the three-day conference,
attendees will be able to identify and utilize three modalities to assist development and wellbeing of sick newborns, and above all, utilize an integrated understanding of the range of knowledge necessary to identify respiratory care measures in the care of a sick newborn.
Q: What does my registration fee include? A: Registration fees include conference materials
and lunch. Parking is available at a reduced rate for all registrants.
Q: When do I receive lecture materials? A: All lecture materials are made available
online prior to the conference date.
Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: In the event that you cannot attend, registration
fees minus a $30 administrative fee will be refunded if your cancellation is received in writing by May 1st.

Conference Fees
Certification Rates S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification Course - $120 PICC Line Certification Course - $150 NRP Instructor Course (English or Spanish) - $175
Daily Rate $80 per day. Beginning May 19th, the fee per day increases to $90 per person.
3-Day Rate $200 for three full conference dates. Certification courses not included.
