The terms and conditions set forth below become part of the contractual agreement between Levy Exposition Services Inc. and you, theEXHIBITOR. Acceptance of said terms and conditions will be construed when any of the following conditions are met:~ WHEN THE METHOD OF PAYMENT FORM IS SIGNED; OR~ WHEN AN ORDER FOR LABOR, SERVICES, AND/OR RENTAL EQUIPMENT IS PLACED BY AN EXHIBITOR WITH LEVY
EXPOSITION SERVICES INC.; OR~ WHEN WORK IS PERFORMED ON BEHALF OF EXHIBITOR BY LABOR SECURED THROUGH LEVY EXPOSITION SERVICES INC.
DEFINITIONS“Levy Exposition Services Inc.” (”LES”), and any sub-contractors affiliated within the show. The term EXHIBITOR shall be construedwithin the meaning of this contract as the EXHIBITOR and/or its employees, agents, representatives, and/or any Exhibitor AppointedContractor (E.A.C.).
PAYMENT TERMSFull payment, including any applicable tax, is due in advance or at show site. All payments must be in U.S. Funds and all checks must bedrawn on a U.S. Bank. Orders received without advance payment or after the deadline date will incur additional [After Deadline] charges asindicated on each order form. All materials and equipment are on a rental basis for the duration of the show or event and remain theproperty of LES except where specifically identified as a sale. All LES rentals include delivery, installation and removal from EXHIBITOR’sbooth. In case of cancellation, a one-hour “per person, per hour” charge will be applied to all labor orders that are not canceled in writing atleast 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. If services have already been provided at the time of cancellation, 100% of original fee willbe applied. It is EXHIBITOR’S responsibility to advise LES Exhibitor Services personnel of any problem with any order, and to checkinvoices for accuracy prior to the close of the exhibit. If EXHIBITOR is exempt from payment of sales tax, LES requires an exemptioncertificate for the State in which the services are to be used. Resale certificates are not valid unless EXHIBITOR is rebilling these chargesto its customers. For International EXHIBITORS, LES requires 100% prepayment of advance orders, and any orders or services places atshow site must be paid at the show. For all others, should there be any pre-approved unpaid balance after the close of the show, terms willbe net, due and payable in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, upon receipt of invoice. Effective 30 days after invoice date, any unpaidbalance will bear a FINANCE CHARGE at the lesser of the maximum rate allowed by applicable law, or 1.5% per month, which is anANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE of 18%, and future orders will be on a pre-paid basis only. If any finance charge here under exceeds themaximum rate allowed by applicable law, the finance charge shall automatically be reduced to the maximum rate allowed, and any excessfinance charge received by LES shall either be applied to reduce the principal unpaid balance or refunded to the payer. These paymentterms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the LAWS OF THE STATE OF LOUISIANA. In the event ofany dispute between EXHIBITOR and LES relative to any loss, damage, or claim, such EXHIBITOR shall not be entitled to and shall notwithhold payment, or any partial payment, due to LES relative to any services, as an offset against the amount of any alleged loss ordamage. Any claim against LES shall be considered a separate transaction, and shall be resolved on its own merits. LES reserves theright to charge EXHIBITOR for the difference between the EXHIBITOR’s estimate of charges and the actual charges incurred by theEXHIBITOR, or for any charges that LES may be obligated to pay on behalf of the EXHIBITOR, , any shippingincluding without limitationcharges.
LABOR PROVIDED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF LES
RESPONSIBILITIESLES shall be responsible for the performance of labor provided under this option. LES cannot assume responsibility for any acts of, or lossto, persons, parties and/or other contracting firms not under LES’s direct supervision and control. In no event shall LES be liable for loss ordamage caused by delay in labor beginning work when EXHIBITOR requests labor to begin later than the start of the working day. LES shallnot be responsible for loss, delay or damage due to strike, lockouts, and/or work stoppages, or other causes beyond LES’s reasonablecontrol.
INDEMNIFICATONLES agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend EXHIBITOR from and against any and all demands, claims, causes of action, fines,penalties, damages, liabilities, judgments, and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and investigation costs) forbodily injury, including any injury to LES employees, or property damage arising out of work performed by labor provided by and supervisedby LES, except when EXHIBITOR exercises direction and/or control over the work being performed.
LABOR PROVIDED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF EXHIBITOR
RESPONSIBILITIESEXHIBITOR shall be responsible for the performance of labor provided under this section. It is responsibility of EXHIBITOR to superviselabor secured through LES in a reasonable manner as to prevent bodily injury and/or property damage and also to direct them to work in amanner that is in compliance with LES Safe Work Rules and/or Federal, State, County and Local ordinances, rules and/or regulations,including but not limited to Show or Facility Management Rules and/or Regulations. It is the responsibility of EXHIBITOR to check in withthe Service Desk to pick up labor, and to return to the Service Desk to release labor when the work is completed.
INDEMNIFICATIONEXHIBITOR agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend LES from and against any and all demands, claims, causes of action, fines,penalties, damages, liabilities, judgements, and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and investigation costs)for bodily injury, including any injury to LES employees, and/or property damage arising out of work performed by labor provided by LES butsupervised by EXHIBITOR. Further, EXHIBITOR’s indemnification of LES includes any and all violations of Federal, State, County or Localordinances, “Show Regulations and/or Rules” as published and/or set forth by Facility or Show Management, and/or directing laborprovided by LES to work in a manner that violates any of the above rules, regulations, and/or ordinances.

As the official service contractor‚ LEVY is the exclusive provider of freight services. Material handling includes unloading your exhibit material‚ storing up to 30 days in advance at the warehouse address‚ delivering to the booth‚ the handling of empty containers to and from storage‚ and removing of material from the booth for reloading onto outbound carriers. It should not be confused with the cost to transport your exhibit material to and from the convention or event. You have two options for shipping your advance freight — either to the warehouse or directly to show site.HOW DO I SHIP TO THE ADVANCE WAREHOUSE?• We will accept freight beginning 30 days prior to show move-in.• To check on your freight arrival‚ call Exhibitor Services at the number listed on
the Quick Facts.• To ensure timely arrival of your materials at show site‚ freight should arrive by
the deadline date listed on the Quick Facts and Shipping Instructions pages. Yourfreight will still be received after the deadline date‚ but additional charges will

or a third party.HOW SHOULD I LABEL MY FREIGHT?• The label should contain the exhibiting company name‚ the booth number and
the name of the event.• The specific shipping address for either the warehouse or show site can be
found on the Quick Facts and Shipping Instructions pages.HOW DO I ESTIMATE MY MATERIAL HANDLING CHARGES?• Charges will be based on the weight of your shipment. Each shipment received
is considered separately. The shipment weight will be rounded to the next 100 pounds. Each 100 pounds is considered one “cwt.” (one hundred weight). All shipments are subject to reweigh.
• On the Order Form‚ select whether the freight will arrive at the warehouse or be sent directly to show site.
• Next‚ select the category that best describes your shipment. There are three categories of freight: Crated: material that is skidded or is in any type of shipping container that can be unloaded at the dock with no additional handling required.Special Handling: material delivered by the carrier in such a manner that it requires additional handling‚ such as ground unloading, stacked and constricted space unloading‚ designated piece unloading, loads mixed with pad-wrapped material, loads failing to maintain shipping integrity, carpet and/or pad-only shipments, and shipments that require additional time, equipment or labor to unload. Federal Express, UPS and all van lines are included in this category due to their delivery procedures.Uncrated: material that is shipped loose or pad-wrapped‚ and/or unskidded machinery without proper lifting bars or hooks.
• Add overtime charges for inbound if material is delivered to the booth during the overtime period stated on the Quick Facts and Shipping Instructions pages.This includes both warehouse and show site shipments.
• Add overtime charges for outbound if material is loaded onto the outbound carrier during the overtime period stated on the Quick Facts and ShippingInstructions pages.
• Add the late delivery charge listed on the Order Form if the shipment is accepted at the warehouse or at show site after the deadline date listed on the Quick Factsand Shipping Instructions pages.
• The above services‚ whether used completely or in part‚ are offered as a package and the charges will be based on the total inbound weight of the shipment.
• Shipments received without receipts or freight bills, such as UPS and Federal Express, will be delivered to the booth without guarantee of piece count or condition.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY EMPTY CONTAINERS DURING THE SHOW?• Pick up “Empty Labels” at the Service Center. Place a label on each container.
Labeled containers will be picked up periodically and stored in non-accessible storage during the show.

HOW DO I PROTECT MY MATERIALS AFTER THEY ARE DELIVERED TO THE SHOW OR BEFORE THEY ARE PICKED UP AFTER THE SHOW?• Consistent with trade show industry practices‚ there may be a lapse of time
between the delivery of your shipment(s) to your booth and your arrival. The same is true for the outbound phase of the show — the time between your departure and the actual pick-up of your materials. During these times‚ your materials will be left unattended. We recommend that you arrange for a representative to stay with your materials or that you hire security services to safeguard your materials.
HOW DO I SHIP MY MATERIALS AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE SHOW?• Each shipment must have a completed Material Handling Agreement in order to
ship materials from the show. All pieces must be labeled individually.• To save time‚ complete and submit the Outbound Shipping Form in advance‚ or
you may contact the Service Center at show site for your shipping documents. The Material Handling Agreement and labels will be processed and available prior to show closing.
• After materials are packed‚ labeled‚ and ready to be shipped‚ the completed Material Handling Agreement must be turned in at the Service Center.
• Call your designated carrier with pick-up information. Please refer to the Quick Factsand Shipping Instructions pages for specific dates and times. In the event your selected carrier fails to show on final move-out day‚ your shipment will either be rerouted to LEVY’s carrier choice or delivered back to the warehouse atexhibitor’s expense.
• For your convenience‚ show-recommended carriers will be on site to handle outbound transportation.
WHERE DO I GET A FORKLIFT?• Forklift orders to install or dismantle your booth after materials are delivered
may be ordered in advance or at show site. We recommend that you order in advance to avoid additional charges at show site. Refer to the Order Form for available equipment.
• Advance and show-site orders for equipment and labor will be dispatched once a company representative signs the labor order at the Service Center.
• Start time is guaranteed only when equipment is requested for the start of the working day.
DO I NEED INSURANCE?• Be sure your materials are insured from the time they leave your firm until
they are returned after the show. It is suggested that exhibitors arrange all-risk coverage. This can be done by riders to your existing policies.

FOR WHICH LEVY EXPOSITION SERVICES INC. IS THE OFFICIAL SHOW CONTRACTORS; OR~ WHEN AN ORDER FOR LABOR AND/ OR RENTAL EQUIPMENT IS PLACED BY AN EXHIBITOR WITH LEVY
EXPOSITION SERVICES INC.
1. DEFINITIONS. “Levy Exposition Services Inc” (”LES”), andany sub-contractors affiliated within the show.
2. PACKAGING AND CRATES. LES shall not be responsible fordamage to loose, uncrated materials, pad-wrapped or shrink-wrapped materials, glass breakage, concealed damage,carpets in bags or poly, or materials improperly packed. Inaddition, LES shall not be responsible for crates and packagingwhich are unsuitable for handling, in poor condition, or haveprior damage. Crated and packaging should be of a design toadequately protect contents for handling by forklift and similarmeans.
3. EMPTY CONTAINERS. Empty container labels will beavailable at the show site service desk. Affixing labels to thecontainers is the sole responsibility of EXHIBITOR or hisrepresentative. All previous labels must be removed orobliterated. LES assumes no responsibility for: Error in theabove procedures; Removal of containers with old empty labels& without LES labels; or Improper information on empty labels.LES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TOCRATES AND CONTAINERS OR THEIR CONTENTS WHENSAID ITEMSARE IN EMPTY CONTAINER STORAGE.
4. INBOUND SHIPMENT(S). Consistent with trade showindustry practices, there may be a lapse of time between thedelivery of shipment(s) to the booth and the arrival ofEXHIBITOR or his representative, and during such time thematerials will be left unattended. LES WILL NOT BERESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE,THEFT, OR DISAPPEARANCE OF EXHIBITOR’SMATERIALS AFTER SAME HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TOEXHIBITOR’S BOOTH AT SHOW SITE. LES highlyrecommends the securing of security services for Facility orShow Management.
5. OUTBOUND SHIPMENT(S). Consistent with trade showindustry practices, there may be a lapse of time between thecompletions of packing and the actual pickup of materials fromthe booths for loading onto a carrier and during such time thematerials will be left unattended. LES WILL NOT BERESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE,THEFT, OR DISAPPEARANCE OF EXHIBITOR’SMATERIALS BEFORE SAME HAVE BEEN PICKED UP FORRELOADING AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT. LEShighly recommends the securing of security services fromFacility or Show Management. All Material HandlingAgreements submitted to LES by EXHIBITOR will be checkedat the time of pickup from booth and corrections will be madewhere discrepancies exist between the quantities of timeslisted by EXHIBITOR and the actual count of such items in thebooth at the time of pickup.
6. LES’S RESPONSIBILITIES. LES shall be responsible only forthose services which it directly provides. LES assumes noresponsibility for any persons, parties, or other contracting firmsnot under LES’s direct supervision and control. LES shall notbe responsible for loss, delay, or damage due to strike,lockouts, work stoppages, natural elements, vandalism, acts ofGod, civil disturbances, power failure, explosion, acts ofterrorism or war, other causes beyond LES’s reasonablecontrol, nor for ordinary wear & tear in the handling of materials.
7. INSURANCE. It is understood that LES is not an insurer.Insurance on exhibit materials, if any, shall be obtained byEXHIBITOR in amounts and for perils determined byEXHIBITOR. EXHIBITOR agrees to provide LES with a releaseof subrogation to the extent of any insurance settlementreceived.
8. CLAIM(S) FOR LOSS. Claims for loss or damage must bereported at show-site.A. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES MAY NOT BE WITHHELD. In
the event of any dispute between the EXHIBITOR shall notbe entitled to and shall not withhold payment, or any partialpayment due to LES for its services, as an offset against theamount of any alleged loss or damage.
If found damaged LES’s soleB. MAXIMUM RECOVERY.and exclusive MAXIMUM liability for loss or damage toEXHIBITOR’s materials and EXHIBITOR’s sole andexclusive remedy is limited to $.50 per pound article with amaximum liability of $100.00 per item, or $1,500.00 pershipment.
9. JURISDICTION. THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE CONSTRUEDUNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF LOUISIANAWITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ITS CONFLICT OF LAWSRULES. EXCLUSIVE VENUE FOR ALL DISPUTES ARISINGOUT OF OUR RELATING TO THIS CONTRACT SHALLRESIDE IN A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION INNEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA.
10. INDEMNIFICATION. EXHIBITOR agrees to indemnify, foreverhold harmless and defend LES, its employees, directors,officers, and agents from and against any and all demands,claims, causes of action, fines, penalties, damages (includingconsequential), liability, judgments, and expenses (includingbut not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees and investigationcosts) on account of personal injury, death, or damage to or lossof property or profits arising out of, or contributed to, by any ofthe following:- EXHIBITOR’s negligent supervision of any labor securedthrough LES, or the negligent supervision of such labor by anyof EXHIBITOR’s employees, agents, representative,customers, invitees and/or Exhibitor Appointed Contractor(EAC).- EXHIBITOR’s negligence, willful misconduct, or deliberate actof EXHIBITOR’s employees, agents, representatives,customers, invitees and/or any Exhibitor Appointed Contractor(EAC) at the show or exposition to which this contract relates.- EXHIBITOR’s violation of U.S.A. or Local ordinances or theviolation of Show Regulations and/or Rules as published andset forth by Facility and/or Show Management.- EXHIBITOR’s inclusion of illegal substances, hazardousmaterials or waste in any shipment placed with LES and for theviolation of the representations and warranties made regardinghazardous materials made on the front of thisAgreement.
11. MISCELLANEOUS. EXHIBITOR, as a material part of theconsideration LES for material handling and transportationservices, waives and releases all claims against LES, itsemployees, agents, officers, and directors, with respect to allmatters for which LES has disclaimed liability pursuant to theprovisions of this contract. The EXHIBITOR acknowledgesthat he or she has read this agreement, understands it andagrees to be bound by its terms, and further agrees that it is thecomplete and exclusive agreement between the parties. Theinvalidity or enforceability of any provision hereof shall notaffect, modify, or impair the validity and enforceability of allprovisions herein.

The unpacking, erection, assembling, dismantling, and packing of displays and equipment must bedone by the correct type of labor. Levy Exposition Services Inc., the official contractor, will haveskilled craftsmen available to assist Exhibitors. Arrangements for labor should be made throughLevy Exposition Services in advance whenever possible. Official labor forms are included in theExhibitor Service Manual.
Exceptions to the foregoing will be considered only in cases where permission has been requestedin writing by the Exhibitor and received by Levy Exposition Services Inc. no later thanOctober 18, 2019. Exceptions will be granted only if it will not interfere with or prejudice the orderlyset-up, interim service, or dismantling of the Exposition. An exception will not be granted if it isinconsistent with the commitments made and obligations assumed by Management in any contractwith service contractors or its lease with the For services such as electrical,New Orleans Marriott.plumbing, telephone, drayage, rigging and booth cleaning, no exception will be made, and thecontractor designated by Management will be used.
All agents representing the Exhibitor must be fully identified by the official Management badge. REGULATIONS FOR CONTRACTORS/VENDORSThe following policies apply to all audio visual, production, exhibit, staging, and/or any other company or entity
providing services within the Marriott New Orleans.
1. Freight ElevatorReg.1.1 All service vendors entering the Marriot New Orleans that require a dedicated freightelevator for load in and out will require an elevator operator from PSAV. Required elevator operator mustbe arranged through a PSAV Sales Manager (with dates and times) at least 14 business days prior to yourfirst load-in day. Labor rates will apply to elevator usage (minimum of 5 hours). Contractors/outsidevendors using the elevators for load-in and load-out procedures without the permission of the hotel willincur applicable fees. Elevator usage not pre-ordered within the 14-day requirement may incur doubletime labor rates. The elevator is the exclusive property of the Marriott New Orleans. Reserving theelevator does not entitle contractor/vendor to exclusive rights to usage. Elevator operators are billed at$105.00 per hr. (5 hour minimums).
2. Rigging GuidelinesReg. 2.1 To ensure Marriott standards and safety regulations are met, PSAV holds exclusive rightsas rigging vendor at the Marriott New Orleans. PSAV provides Pro-star double reeve 1000# chain motors.PSAV is “truss up” exclusive: All rigging chain motors, hanging accessories, and truss are to beprovided solely by PSAV. Hanging in air wall tracks is not permitted. PSAV will not "dead hang" itemsover 100lbs or 10' in length with a scissor lift. Chain hoists or crank towers are required.
Reg.2.2 Rigging plot must be submitted to PSAV a minimum of 14 days prior to the scheduledload-in date, or double time charges may apply. Rigging requests should be made via the PSAV RiggingAdvance web site (http://www.psav.com/RiggingForm). Rigging plots must be created in CAD formatand reflect all flown equipment in addition to a true ceiling plan with hang points. Hang points mustreflect the weights they will bear and must be on this document. Power requirements must also bedocumented. It is highly recommended that outside vendors schedule a site visit and survey the ceilingand ballrooms prior to the event. PSAV will deny any set up that exceeds weight limits, or that theHotel/PSAV deems unsafe. A charge of $260 per event will be assessed for a comprehensive safetyreview by our Rigging Supervisor. This review will verify point load calculations, staffing needs,equipment needs and CAD production. Additional CAD assistance is available if needed and can beprovided; call for estimate. An AV sales manager can provide you with CAD shells.
Reg.2.3 A minimum of (2) riggers is required. The total number of riggers and necessary equipment for your event will be determined by the PSAV Rigging Coordinator. Rigging service requests must be submitted at least (14) business days prior to event. All rigging labor rates will be billed at a (5) hour minimum. Labor contracted beyond (5) hours will be billed in full-hour increments. Labor contracted beyond (10) hours will be billed in full-hour increments at appropriate overtime rates. By
law, riggers must be granted a meal break every (5) hours or a per-person meal penalty will apply. Service charge will apply to rigging equipment and/or labor rates.
Rigging Labor RatesWeekday Rates – (2) person, (5) hour minimum:Standard time (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.): $105/per hr.Time & 1/2 (5 p.m. to Midnight): $157.50/per hr.Double time (Midnight to 7 a.m.): $210.00/ per hr.
Weekend Rates – (2) person, (5) hour minimum:7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: $157.50 / per hr.5 p.m. to Midnight: $236.25 / per hr.Midnight to 7 a.m.: $315.00 / per hr.
Holiday Rates7a.m. to 5 p.m. $315.00/ per hr.
3. Power / HSIA / LiftsReg. 3.0 Dedicated power options are Three-Phase only. No Dedicated Single-Phase options areavailable. Power requests must be submitted at least (14) working days prior to event start date. OutsideVendors must provide their own feeder cabling to Marriott power disconnects.
Reg.3.1 All flown instruments must have a steel safety cable(s). Any instrument flown must beinspected and in safe condition prior to hanging. All nuts and bolts (hardware) used overhead must berated and all wire rope clips and overhead hardware (eyebolts etc.) must be forged. All span sets must bebacked up with a steel safety. Any equipment on a tower, lighting tree or similar ground-supportedelements must also have safety cable back-up on the instrument. PSAV Riggers reserve the right to refuseany instrument/equipment deemed unsafe.
Reg.3.2 A scissor lift is required for all rigging requirements within the meeting space. All liftsused in the hotel must have white, non-marking tires and be in good repair. Construction or outdoor liftswill not be allowed in the hotel. You are responsible for providing your own lift. PSAV lift rentals areavailable for $380.00 per day, or a $1140.00 per week. All PSAV lifts operated on Marriot New Orleansproperty must be operated by a lift-certified PSAV employee. Contact the PSAV Sales Managerregarding additional lift requirements. Any non-PSAV or additional lifts must be free of any hydraulicfluid, oil, or other leaks which may damage the carpet or floors on which they operate.Vendors/contractors are liable for any and all damages to the Marriott New Orleans facility.
Reg.3.3 PSAV and Windstream are the exclusive providers of High Speed Internet Service for theMarriott New Orleans. Outside vendors are not permitted to bring in their own service, such as added T1or DS3 lines. All High Speed Internet Service must be contracted through PSAV. The use of non-PSAVrouters or switches is not permitted without the purchase of dedicated bandwidth and/or a static IP addressor VLAN. If a non-PSAV router or hub is found in use, then the High Speed Internet Service accountwill be terminated. All connections will be charged accordingly per device per day. Please contact thePSAV Sales Team regarding internet requirements.
4. House PA & Audio StandardsReg. 4.1 All internal house-sound systems are operated solely by PSAV. Any group notcontracting with PSAV for audio requirements will be required to supply or rent an external soundsystem. Only PSAV’s audio equipment may be used with the Marriott’s in-house sound system. Anycompany found using their equipment with the in-house sound system will be charged $1000.00 perviolation, per room, per day.
Reg.4.2 Audio levels must be appropriate for the contracted space and must not interfere with thefunctions of neighboring meeting space. Please respect any request regarding audio levels. The hotelreserves the right to terminate any event in such case of inappropriate audio levels. Sound checks forrehearsals must be approved in advance.
Reg.4.3 It is the responsibility of all outside vendors to check any wireless frequencies being usedby the outside vendor against those being occupied by PSAV. Ask a PSAV Sales manager for afrequency list.
5. AV Liaison/Vendor ConductReg.5.1 PSAV is dedicated to the total success of your event. To that end, PSAV will schedule atechnician/ AV liaison to be onsite during the active time of the event as a point of contact for assistancewith the house systems, lighting, sound, internet etc. The charge will be $1050.00 per day for the loadin and load out dates of your event.
Reg. 5.2 PSAV is not permitted to handle or provide storage for any equipment not owned byPSAV. Storage space for outside vendors/contractors will be the sole responsibility of vendor. TheMarriot New Orleans will make every effort to secure space, once notification is given, but is under noobligation to provide such space. No contractor/outside vendor equipment or cases shall be stored inservice hallways or staircases.
Reg.5.3 All vendors conducting business in the Marriot New Orleans must uphold the standardsset forth by Marriott, including a professional appearance in all aspects of your company’s personnel and operations. All contractors are required to wear uniforms during performance of their contracted duties.
Reg.5.4 Sub-Contracted Personnel must enter and exit via the hotel security booth, must check inat the hotel security booth and wear a security-provided ID tag. A government recognized form ofidentification is required. All contractors must stay is designated job site areas. All sub contracted non-hotel guest associates are subject to bag checks upon entering or departure from the Marriott NewOrleans. Contractors/vendors who are guests in the hotel are considered hotel guests and not required togo through hotel security or wear security tags.
Reg.5.5 All meeting space must be kept clean and safe at all times. Any exposed cabling on floorsmust be taped down neatly. Caution tape is required where applicable. Contractors/outside vendors mustdispose of all tape and trash into proper receptacle. Client is subject to appropriate cleaning fees shouldany additional cleaning be required.
Reg.5.6 Each contractor/vendor will be responsible for providing a primary point ofcontact/supervisor along with a cell number for the individual. The designated contact/supervisor will beresponsible for the actions of their employees at all times while in the hotel and will respond positively toany requests made by hotel management. The contact/supervisor will be responsible for informing andensuring that all crew members are aware and knowledgeable of all conditions listed in this policy. If at
any time the above-mentioned policies are violated, the Hotel reserves the right to require the contractor’s operations cease, if in the Hotels reasonable estimation, these policies are not being adhered to. Any personnel violating these rules will be escorted off the property by Marriott Security.
6. LABOR & SAFETY Reg.6.1 All labor will be billed at a “half day 5 hr.” minimum or “full day 10 hrs.” Time and ½ will apply after 10 hours per day. All labor calls are subject to a minimum charge. Reg.6.2 All PSAV equipment rates, unless otherwise noted, are based on a per-room, per-day calculation with a minimum rental of 1 day. Reg.6.3 Unless requested and approved in writing by the authorized client contact, all production charges will be the sole responsibility of the end user client. All charges will be billed to customer’s master account unless other arrangements have been made in advance prior to event start date, with a credit card secured on file to cover any additional overtime charges where applicable. Reg.6.4 The Marriott New Orleans requires that all electrical power, necessary labor to install, operate and remove, be provided by PSAV or Hotel Engineering for all functions. Electrical will be charged accordingly. Generators are not permitted inside the hotel. Reg.6.5 At no time may outside vendors/contractors obstruct exit signs. Loss Prevention requires legal clearance in case of emergency or fire. No curtains, drapes, or decorations shall be hung in such a manner to obstruct exit signs. All additional “EXIT” signs must be illuminated and battery-operated. Adherence to all local fire codes will be the sole responsibility of the outside vendor/contractor. . Reg.6.6 Pyrotechnics, whether interior or exterior, are strictly prohibited by the Marriott New Orleans. Smoke/Fog machines cannot be used without prior approval from Marriott New Orleans Security and Engineering departments. A City of New Orleans Fire Marshal must be present during any use of smoke/fog, whether during show or rehearsal. It is the contractor/vendor’s responsibility to coordinate, provide, and pay for the fire marshal 14 business days prior to the event. The Catering/Conference Manager from the Hotel can assist in this process. Reg. 6.7 Safe work practices are the responsibility of the contractor/vendor in all areas, including front-of-house, backstage, and back-of-house. Production equipment, exhibitor equipment, cords, cases, scaffold, pipe and drape, hard and soft sets of any size and design, or any such owned/rented equipment related to any operation in the Hotel must be secured in such a manner that it will not pose any potential safety hazard. Contractor/vendor must be made aware and knowledgeable of all conditions listed in this policy. If at any time the above-mentioned policies are violated, the Hotel reserves the right to require the contractor’s operations cease, if in the Hotel’s reasonable estimation, these policies are not being adhered to. Any personnel violating these rules will be escorted off property by Marriott Security.
Contractor/Vendor understands and agrees that contractor/vendor is being employed by a Group/Organization visiting and renting meeting space from the hotel, and that the hotel has no relationship with the contractor/vendor. Contractor/Vendor acknowledges and agrees that Contractor/Vendor has not been promised, and will not claim, any payment or consideration from Hotel for complying with the terms of this agreement or for any other reason. All Companies conducting business within the Marriott New Orleans must have a copy of COI (Certificate of Insurance) on file. CCMH Properties II, LLC Marriott International Inc., and Marriott Hotels and Resorts must be named as Additional Insured, as well as an Additional Loss Payee. THE CERTIFICATE MUST PROVIDE COVERAGE OF ALL RISKS, INCLUDING WORKERS COMPENSATION. A CURRENT CERTIFICATE EVIDENCING THE BELOW LISTED COVERAGE IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE PROVIDED AT LEAST 20 DAYS PRIOR TO LOAD IN. Commercial General Liability: Not less than $2,000,000 combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage. This limit is subject to change based on scope of work. Automotive Liability: Not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage. Workers Compensation: Not less than $500,000 with the W/C box marked. In no event shall the Hotel, Hotel Owners, Marriott International or PSAV be liable for any damages to or losses whether or not it is insured, even if such loss is caused by the negligence of hotel. Contractor waives on behalf of its self and its insurers all rights against PSAV the Hotel, Owners and Marriott International and its agents, officers and directors and employees for recovery of damages to the extent these damages are covered by its insurance regardless of deductibles and/ or limits if any. Such insurance must name the indemnities as additional insured under both General and Automobile liabilities policies on form CG 21 10 endorsement or its equivalent.
