In this workshop, participants will use focal or mentor texts to elevate the connection between reading, writing, and grammar. Small group activities around process writing and writing in response to reading will support a variety of classroom examples with time to collaborate and compare. Rayburn: Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, Kelly Griffith, Margaret Miller; Audience: Pre-K-2, limited to 50 participants; Presider: _________________ Explore a secret museum with Xavier Riddle and examine ways to use this new PBS series to help integrate digital skills, social studies and language arts.
