63 year old, Guadalupe ‘Lupe’ Hinch, of Thayer, passed away December 5, 2018 at her home with her loving family around her. On May 24, 1955, Lupe was born to Joseph & Mary Helen (Rios) Carrillo, in East Chicago, Indiana. Lupe married the love of her life, Richard Hinch, on November 19, 1975. She enjoyed raising her children and being a volunteer fire fighter for Lincoln Township Fire. She was a member of the Women’s Auxilary American Legion Post #231. Lupe is survived by her loving family: husband: Richard, sons: Robert Hinch, Michael (Valerie) Hinch, 4 grandchildren: Brandon Mislan, Haley Todd, Megan Hinch, & Danielle Hinch, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers. Lupe was preceded in death by her parents, and sister: Vicky Mosley. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Lupe, will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Boersma Funeral Home, interment will follow at the Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lincoln Township Fire Department.
