Community Garden
On Valentine Road
The Northborough Community Gardens at Valentine Road will be opening for it‘s second year on March 15, 2012. Cur-
rently we have 20 plots, which are 6‘ x 12‘, and are available to Northborough residents or Northborough-affiliated or-
ganizations. For the first year, gardens were available to the community for no charge due to the gardens being funded
by a grant. This year, there will be a charge of $20 to help pay for maintenance and water of the facility. Plots will be
issued by lottery because we anticipate high demand.
Applications must be received by February 15 for consideration. On February 16, we will choose 20 applications at ran-
dom and issue the gardens to the families/organizations chosen.
For more information or to download an application, please call the Recreation Department at 508-393-5034 or visit our
site at www.northboroughrecreation.com.
