MANAGER’S REPORTThe project of the fish cleaning station to the new dock area is almost complete. We will be adding running water to the station along with adding lights for the water area.Sealcoating and Striping of the roads is finally complete. The asphalt company will do a 90 day check of the roads to patch any areas needed.Back office renovation is ongoing. Floor and paint colors has been chosen, work is underway. Office will be very professional when complete.A committee has been set up for Exterior of Clubhouse renovation. The first of many meetings is under way.We have purchased a new camera that will read license plates clearly. This will help immensely if we have any future incidents.A date has been set for installation of the backflow valves. The project will commence on 1/04/2016. The plan is to start and continue in numerical order.We are also working on the storage yard. Plan is to install sheds along with having a couple storage spaces open. Plan is to accommodate as many shareholders on the list as possible.Management would like to wish all a Happy and Safe Holiday.Tom Wisdom-Harbor Lights Mgmt.

FISHERMAN’S KORNERON THE DOCKTed Meier and family, son and cousins had a nice day catching, catfish, a spanish mackerel, sea trout, etc. from the dock.Theresa P. has had a few evenings catching those big old catfish. Some of which became a meal for George the big blue heron.

IN THE GULFJohn B. and son Lewis had a very good day with Capt. Joe Miller catching a variety of reef fish, including several very large red grouper that had to be released. A huge goliath grouper, released, and they kept a few very large amberjacks.

December 1st is the beginning of commercial mullet fishing season. We have seen very few mullet fishing boats. The word is no mullet. We have seen one boat with a few fish not very many. Not good. Very few mullet have been seen along the intercoastal. However, the commercial stone crab fishermen are having a banner year.Hope the red tide stays away from our section of the gulf.

The highlight of the festivities will be a banquet at Bentleys in Osprey, where we will honor a few of the many who have contributed a great deal of their time and talent.

Tickets will be on sale February 1.Let’s keep our Park alive by knowing

our history and passing it on to future residents.

HARBOR LIGHTS COOPERATIVE,INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2015 9:00 AM IN THE CLUBHOUSE I. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM by President Sandwick. II. ROLL CALL: Bunnell, Dellina, Fox, Laughlin, Sandwick, Wallace and Young were present. Pettengill present by telephone, Lewis absent. Wisdom present for Management. III. CONFIRMATION AND POSTING: The meeting was duly posted and a quorum was present. IV. READING OF MINUTES: A. Board of Directors Meeting Minutes of 11-12-15 not read as all Directors had a copy. There were no corrections or additions. Motion by Wallace, second by Bunnell to approve minutes. Unanimous vote to accept. B. Clubhouse Renovation Committee Meeting Minutes of 11-18-15. Motion by Wallace, second by Pettengill to approve. Unanimous vote to accept. C. Special Members Meeting Minutes of 12-02-15. Motion by Young, second by Bunnell. Unanimous vote to accept. D. Special Board of Directors Meeting Minutes of 12-02-15. Motion by Laughlin, second by Bunnell to approve. Unanimous vote to accept. E. Executive Committee Meeting Minutes of 12-08-15 read into the minutes with corrections. V. MANAGER'S REPORT: A. Regarding proposed change to Rules and Regulations as to whether a shareholder owning two units must live in the park 90 days in a calendar year is enforceable, etc., we are awaiting response from our attorney. Like wise awaiting attorney's opinion regarding background checks for renters. B. Fish Station - Has been installed and waiting for water hookup. C. Split Raid Fence at Park - Waiting for posts to come in.

VI. TREASURER'S REPORT: Pettengill reported that fixed assets as of 11-30-15 are $4,808,533.00 and total savings, checking and cash is $860,903.13. Motion by Dellina, second by Wallace to approve Treasurer's Report. Unanimous vote to approve. VII.ANNOUNCEMENTS: A. Renovation Committee will meet on Monday, 12-14-15 at 10:AM. Anyone may attend. Agenda has been posted. B. Christmas dance on 12-16-15. C. 25th Annivesary - Natalie Young reports plans are forging along for a three-day celebration which will be partly educational for the benefit of newer residents and partly fun, culminating with a banquest at Bentley's Hotel on Feb. 25, 2016 to honor past and present leaders of Harbor Lights. There will be a choice of three entrees and attendees may have to pay a portion of the fee for the food. VIII UNFINISHED BUSINESS: A. Storage Yard - President Sandwick has been contacting people about giv- ing up spots. Some people with small trailers may be able to double up and DeMarco's boat will be removed. Will try to put sheds on two lots vacated by Smith's boat as the angle of the lots would make it diffi- cult to back boat trailers in. Sandwick asked for a volunteer to take over making a plan for additional sheds and trailers to include measurements, drawings, etc. and Fox volunteered to do so. B. Road Update - Striping is going on now and gutters for drainage which are at the end of some streets will be painted yellow because people cannot see them with everything black and someone has already fallen. c. Backflow Prevention Update - Hart Plumbing has not given a start-up date as yet but the City of Venice is aware that we are working on it and the 30 day time limit will be extended. Residents will be given notice as to when their water will be turned off. Not everyone has turned in their form yet and this needs to be done. If a share- holder declines to have the work done, their water will be turned off by the City of Venice and they will be fined $125 per day. D. Discussion on Putting a Unit on Lot #124 - No offer has been made on the lot in two years and it is hoped that placing a unit on the lot will make it more attractive to potential buyers. Motion made by Bunnell, seconded by Wallace to send proposed plans to shareholders for a unit on Lot #124 not to exceed $70,000 and pending receipt of a legal opinion regarding whether we can spend the money. Unanimous vote for approval.

IX NEW BUSINESS: None. X SHAREHOLDERS COMMENTS: A. Phil Myers - Two parking spots on Port Dr. have been lost. Per Sandwick, parking spot near curve eliminated for safety reasons. He has a map of all pre-existing parking spaces and will see that other spot across from Welton's is properly marked. B. Tom Depper - Will spots be marked "guest" and "reserved"? Only if there is no off-street parking for residence. C. Eleanor Johnson - Has done survey of available parking spaces and found 42 and feels that there are plenty of spaces available. This does not include approximately 40 spaces around the clubhouse. D. Bob Lawrence - Noted two spaces that have not yet been marked. E. Judy Ward - Suggests that we be sure backflow valves are not put in walkways as is her already existing one. Per Sandwick, they will be put on pipes that come out of the ground and those who already have backflow valves, have the option of replacing them now. F. Jim Horsman requested update on security in view of recent events. Police advise that gates are false security. G. Carolyn Welton reports that she has found a vagrant in the back room of the clubhouse. It is known that a kid dressed in black with a backpack has been hanging around but hasn't been caught and if anyone sees him, call 911. H. Bob Lawrence asked if possible to have a gate used only at night. That will be discussed. I. Phil Myers reviewed videos after the auto theft and advises that the infrared camera is not working properly. It is not picking up license plates. Sandwick will call the security company and have it fixed or replaced. XI. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Bunnell, seconded by Laughlin to adjourn at 10:05 AM. Unanimous vote to adjourn.
