Whoever saves a life, it would beas if they havesaved the lives of all mankind.”(Qur’an 5:32)

Our Vision

We envision a world in which access to food,

clean water, education and shelter is a norm.

The opportunity to live peacefully is offered to all

without discrimination.

Strategy

We work on strategic programmes to eliminate

poverty that focus on:

• Emergency relief

• Education

• Skills training

• Provision of clean water

• Healthcare

• Income generation projects.

100% Donation Policy

U.K. government generously allows registered

charities to claim an additional 25% on top of any

donations that U.K. taxpayers may make. Gift aid

allows One Nation to maintain its 100% donations

policy by covering administrative costs. Any

excess of admin funds will be added into our

emergency relief fund.

On September 28th,

2018, an earthquake of

magnitude 7.5 struck

Indonesia’s Central

Sulawesi province,

triggering a tsunami

and landslides that

caused widespread

destruction and loss

of life.

More than 2,000

people died, 4,400

were seriously injured.

Around 1.5 million

people in Central

Sulawesi were affected

More than 68,000

houses damaged

or destroyed, with

thousands of people

displaced.

INDONESIA TSUNAMIAND EARTHQUAKE

Shortly after the tsunami hit, our team in the UK

flew out to the devastated areas and organised a rapid emergency response, providing food and

clean water to the survivors. A couple of days

later some land was generously donated by a

local resident where we started constructing

shelters for the people who lost everything. This

was the start of a long-term project.

TragedySister Noornihal and her husband Waluyu visited

a rubble site every day where their home was

destroyed, where their 3 daughters were buried

underneath the rubble. They are in hope of a

miracle.

Sister Noornihal and her husband mentioned that

most of their neighbours in the village were buried

as the ground caved in during the earthquake.

Sustainablelivelihoods projectsOur goal at One

Nation is to see the

vulnerable become

self-sufficient and self-sustaining, rather than

dependent on aid.

We strive to help them

regain their pride,

independence and the

ability to provide for

themselves and their

families. In Jammu

and Kashmir we have

been distributing

sewing machines to

impoverished families,

enabling them to

learn a new skill and

generate an income.

Thank you to everyone

who have supported

this project and helped

give this opportunity to

the people of Kashmir.

Sheep farming project

One Nation provided 5

families with 8 sheep/

lambs in Jammu

and Kashmir for the

purpose of rearing

and selling them at

a profit leading up to Eid-Ul-Adha, the

families will then re-

invest the monies into

more livestock for the

following year. Over

time these families will

grow the livestock with

the profit they earn and become self-

sufficient.

In August 2019,

government authorities

shut down all

communication in and

out of Jammu and

Kashmir. Restricted

freedom of movement

and banned public

meetings.

The disruption

to internet and

telecommunication

services exacerbated

the information

blackout, while

the restrictions on

movement placed

vulnerable people at

risk, hindering access

to crucial medical care

and daily services.

Over a million people

live inside of Srinagar.

Residence are facing

shortages of food and

other basic necessities

as shops remain shut

and public movement

limited.

Shortages of

prescription drugs are

a major worry to the

vulnerable. ATMs are

cashless and banks

shut.

With your support

and donations our

team in Srinagar have

distributed food packs

to those most in need.

One Nation is successfully

providing sponsorships to

many students who regularly

attend Quran memorisation

institutes across different rural

areas of Aleppo and Idlib. The

administrators of the ‘Hafiz in Syria’ project carry out monthly

visits to each institute to ensure

the students are meeting

the required memorisation

standards, where they are

then given their monthly

Empowerment Albania

This initiative came about when

discussing local community

issues. How do we get young

people of the streets, spark a

passion, give them motivation

and help build future leaders.

Conclusion was by giving them

an opportunity to travel, see

how people live who are less

fortunate and how they can

make a real difference to

people’s lives.

One Nation organised a

deployment to Albania to

deliver aid and raised funds for

students to become scholars

who will teach and pass

on knowledge in their local

communities.

One Nation is dedicated to

bringing positive change locally

and globally.

Domestic Abuse

Counselling and

Psychological

Support One Nation recognises the

issues of domestic abuse

within communities, and have

initiated a campaign alongside

a charity called Nour DV, to

support survivors of abuse. This

year, One Nation financially supported over 100 survivors.

Which included counselling in

London and assessments in

Birmingham.

Testimonial:“I used to (take anti-

depressants) at the beginning

of this session but now I’m

completely off them. Self-harm?

I haven’t done (self-harm) since

talking to my counsellor. This

has helped.

“Counselling has

changed my way of

thinking about life.”

Counselling has changed my

way of thinking about life. This

(service) should be readily

available to others because

people like me do not know that

counselling can change lives.

My life is so much happier and

my belief has changed in so

many ways.”

One Nation will always strive

and respond to the needs of the

vulnerable by providing food,

clean water, shelter, clothing,

medical and emergency aid

across the world. We are

currently providing regular

support in 10 countries every

month including the Uyghur

refugees in Turkey.

Our aim is to increase support

in the UK by assisting with

short term accommodation, hot

food, and warm clothing and

psychological support to

domestic abuse victims.

As part of “Empowering Women

Campaign”, we aim to offer

more social activities and

support for the women/elderly

within our communities.

Project Africa will see a huge

investment going forward.

Investing in self-sustainable

projects through irrigation in

the regions which have seen

thousands of families face

famine over the past few years.

In Bangladesh our aim is

to build orphanages that

will provide accommodation

and education for vulnerable

children, giving them a chance

for a brighter future.

What Next?

Ramadan is a sacred month of

the year for millions of refugees

around the world, they won’t eat

or drink from sunrise to sunset.

A time to reflect, pray and devote themselves for a whole

month.

It is the month when the Holy

Qur’an was revealed. Muslims

around the world open their

hearts and give abundantly

in charity. A time for us all to

demonstrate unity and come

together in the aid of those who

are in desperate need around

the world. Together we can

provide people with food, clean

water, clothing and shelter.

One Nation is distributing food

packs and hot Iftar meals

throughout the holy month of

Ramadan. We are aiming to

provide much needed support

to families suffering in Gaza,

Syria, Yemen, Rohingya

refugees in Bangladesh and

Myanmar (Burma) - described

by United Nations as one of

the world’s most persecuted

minorities.
