Br Iulio Suaesi’s Jubilee
A group of Old boys from the Marist Brothers Juniorate, are currently working on the restoration of the grotto at Tuakau which includes a frame and glass door before the fully restored statue is returned. Thank you Peter Jackson and Jim Donald for this work.
On Sunday 18th November at 2 p.m. Bishop Denis Brown will officiate and lead a blessing to re-establish Our Lady’s Grotto at LaValla followed by afternoon tea at 3 p.m.
The next annual Tuakau Old Boys Luncheon will be held on 12th March 2019.

The students of St Joseph's College (Samoa) presented some stunning pieces of art as part of their BSP Go Green School Beautification Program. Recycled tyres were used to make sculp-tures and use as plant holders. Malo lava to the Principal, Teachers and Students. Here is their rosary made with painted coconuts to decorate their school's centre piece. Visit Facebook to like their entry.
St Joseph’s College (Samoa) The Marist Brothers of Samoa and the District of the
Pacific will gather to celebrate Br Iulio’s 50th year of
religious commitment and his service to Education as
a Marist Brother on Friday 5th October. A commemo-
rative plaque will be presented to him on this occa-
sion.
MAPAC Marist Brothers John Hazelman, Anitelea and
Tabunga are currently at MAPAC. Here Br
John and Tabunga prepare Filipino dishes for
a shared lunch and Bros Anitelea, Epalle and
Guanghao deliver a lesson and activity on the
street to the children from the nearby Molave
street squatter families.

the Marist Brothers Primary School at
Mulivai, where it is placed. It's very
popular! It was restored by the Class
of 1988 from St Joseph’s College,
Form four and was commissioned
recently as part of the 130 years anni-
versary celebrations of Marist Broth-
ers Education in Samoa.
