Multiple configurations.The5600seriesoffersafull-lineofconfigurationstoaccommodateabroadrangeofapplications.Bothsingle-anddual-circuitmodelsareavailableforlow-andhigh-temperatureratingswitheitherfixedtemperatureorcombinationfixedtemperature/rate-of-rise(ROR)activation.TheRORelementofthefixed/RORmodelsisrestorabletoaccommodatefield-testing.

Installation flexibility.Tosatisfyavarietyofinstallationneeds,the5600serieseasilymountstosingle-gangandoctagonalbackboxes.Andthesemodelsaccommodatefour-squarebackboxes,whenusedwithasquaretoroundplasterring.Thereversiblemountingbracketpermitsbothflush-andsurface-mountbackboxinstallations.

Visual identification.The5600seriesprovidesclearmarkingsontheexterioroftheunittoensurethattheproperdetectorisbeingused.Alphanumericcharactersidentifytheactivationmethod,aswellasthetemperaturerating,inFahrenheitandCelsiusdegrees.FixedtemperaturemodelsareidentifiedFX,whilecombinationfixed/rate-of-riseunitsaremarkedFX/ROR.The5600seriesalsoprovidesapost-activationindicatorintheformofacollector.Whenthedetectorisactivated,thecollectordropsfromtheunit,makingiteasytoidentifytheunitinalarm.
