More than 20% of RIMS a-g completers are AVID students
RIMS AVID is home to incredible graduates like Karen Villegas who is first in her family to graduate high school.
Karen received the Gates Millenium, Dell, and KFC scholarships as well as more than a half dozen other local
scholarships. She’s headed to UCLA.

Uriel Sanchez is a dyslexic student, first in his family to graduate high school. He’s headed to medical school at
Johns Hopkins and Oxford Universities.

74.0%
That one high school has spread to 220 schools!
And continuing to grow!
