Now that we understand the basic shape of an exponentialfunction we can transform it using the same rules we learnedin earlier units.

The rules of:    y=af(b(x­h))+k also apply to:

y=a(c)b(x­h)+k. The same shifts and stretches apply.

Create a chart to find the new points and then sketch.
