BOARD OF ENGINEERING OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

In accordance with Clause 16 (f) of Engineering Profession Act, No. 34 of 1985, of the Republic of Trinidad and

Tobago, the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago lists hereunder the qualifications and institutions

recognized by the Board in respect of the engineering training to professional engineer level required by the Act:-

(i) University of the West Indies - Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Hons.)

(ii) Institutions and qualifications on the published list of the Engineering Council headquartered in

England as qualification to the Chartered or Professional Engineer standard.

(iii) Institutions and qualifications on the published list of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and

Technology headquartered in the U.S.A. as qualification to the Chartered or Professional Engineer

standard.

(iv) Institutions and qualifications on the published list of the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board

headquartered in Canada to Chartered or Professional Engineer standard.

(v) Other qualifications and institutions as may be approved by the Board from time to time as
