Living the Gospel with Justice and Love

“ShareLife represents a reliable signpost on the course mapped out by our Pastoral Plan—namely, its core direction of 'Catholic Outreach in Justice and Love.' The work of our agencies, and your generosity towards them, serve as a pathway through which acts of justice and love are realized, and the witness of the Catholic faith is strengthened.” — Cardinal Thomas Collins

To-date contributions = $21,247.00. Today is ShareLife Sunday.

A second collection will be taken up after Communion as mandated by the Archdiocese of Toronto

The St. Timothy Youth Choir will be holding training sessions for kids from grades 3 to high school who are interested in joining the choir. Training will be held on Fridays. For details contact Peggie Brooks at [email protected]

PAPAL INTENTIONS - MAY

That the Church in Africa, through the commitment of its members, may be the seed of unity among her peoples and a sign of hope for this continent.

Visit our St. Timothy Church website: www.sttimothychurch.ca

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

Takes place every Thursday morning following 9:00am Mass, until 6:00pm in

the evening in the church.

HOLY SPIRITS SOCIETY A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter: He that has found one has found a treasure. - Sirach 6:14

Everyone is welcome! Finding Catholic friends can be tough. The Holy Spirits Society is an opportunity for Catholics 19 years and older to meet new people and pursue authentic friendships. We meet twice a month; on the second and fourth Fridays at different pubs/restaurants in the Orangeville area, to share a drink and conversation with other members of our church, in a safe, enjoyable, environment.

The next meeting takes place on Friday May 10th at Barley Vine Rail at 7:30pm

WHAT IS PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING- (PAG)

In response to changing lifestyles and demands on time and energy, parishioners have the option to have their weekly offertory debited from their bank account. Many of us already use preauthorized withdrawals for household payments, insurance, auto leasing, and gym memberships. PAG is the electronic transfer of funds from your bank account to the parish account on a monthly basis, on or about the 20th of the month. PAG is not another collection. It is simply a new way to give a gift that you are going to give anyway. The work of our parish is made possible through the giving hearts of our parishioners. Sacrificial Giving is a necessary expression of our faith, of what we say and what we believe. We respect that giving is a very personal decision but hope that the convenience and efficiency it brings will encourage parishioners to support our church. For more information on how to register for PAG please contact Lenore at the church office.
