the grounds of violation of criteria as mentioned in VIII.1.c and

    VIII.1.dabove.

    b. If a preliminary or final status of a student for any given cycle is

declared to be DEBARRED, the student loses chances of re-

registration. Such students cannot even participate in any of the

subsequent placement-related activities and recruitment drives.

    c. If preliminary status of a student allows him/her to re-register with

some fee, then student shall not be allowed to participate in any

placement-activities or drives until he re-registers.

If a student does not re-register for next cycle within

stipulated time frame (as notified through UMS), it shall be

assumed that student is no longer interested to seek

placement assistance from the university and shall be

    permanently debarred.

    d. In order to re-register for next cycle (as applicable), the student

shall submit the following by the dates announced through UMS:

VIII. Code of Job OffersThe policy for job offers and instructions regarding actual placement process

and/or any modification/deletion/change/addition etc. in the policy will be

notified later at appropriate time aligned with other critical timelines.

    IX. Exceptions to the Policy

Following are some exceptions to the above-mentioned provisions in this policy:

    1. Attendance in EEP Cycles during Trainings:

Any student who is on training (as approved by the university) during any

of the attendance cycles will be required to attend mandatory sessions

immediately after his return or if called by the university earlier on

curtailment of training or after viva etc. He/she would, however, berequired to take part in all such interventions/tests which are made

available to students online or on UMS.

    2. Attendance in EEP during Examinations:

In so far as possible, no EEP session would be organized during regular

exams. However, in case some EEP session and a backlog/reappear exam

date clashes, then exemption from EEP session will be given on specific

    request in advance.

    3. Exemption from EEP during Recruitment Drives:

Exemption from EEP sessions may also be considered in case sessions

clash with any recruitment drive facilitated by the university.

    4. EEP sessions for non-registered students:

The University recognizes the fact that there may be few students who are

not interested in placements. Such students may also take part in EEP

sessions by registering in the same way. However, they will be required to

pay Rs. 2,000 per cycle in order to avail these sessions which are

otherwise free for students registered for placement assistance from
