    Dear Members,

This will be my last article as Chamber Chairman, so I really want to take a moment and thank all of the Regional Chamber members, the Board of Directors, elected officials, CEO Lori Mattson and the Chamber staff for their support during my year of service with the Regional Chamber. In addition, I would like to thank the Executive Committee for their years of wisdom and mentoring with regards to Regional Chamber matters. My employer Ennis Furniture and David Ennis have also been very supportive in allowing me to attend meetings and Chamber events. Of course, I want to thank my Wife Peggy Vasquez, for her loving support and encouragement.

I look forward to serving you as the Past Chair under the 2015 Leadership of Ron Boninger. I encourage everyone to get involved in the future of our Chamber and community by serving and being active in the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Becoming involved in the Regional Chamber and its activities is good for your business and good for our Community. The value of your membership is enhanced when you attend a luncheon or BDU program, host a Business After Hours, or serve on a committee. I look forward to continuing the good work and traditions of past Chamber leadership. The Board and our Regional Chamber staff are looking forward to working with all of you in 2015.

Wishing you all a brighter, bolder and happy holiday season and a healthy 2015!

Mission Support Alliance (MSA) supports the Department of Energy’s Hanford cleanup activities by providing key sitewide services and critical infrastructure support to the site’s contractors.

Our strength lies in our ability to provide cross-cutting services to reduce costs and gain efficiencies for our customers at Hanford. Our contribution to the cleanup efforts includes training, site security, roads and utilities, logistics and transportation, emergency services, and information technology - all which enable Hanford contractors to focus on cleanup efforts.

At Mission Support Alliance, we pride ourselves on a continuing standard of excellence. We ensure safe and secure operations and enable our employees to advance innovation and continuous improvement.

We strive to be a leader in clean energy and environmental compliance. We have implemented energy conservation projects and water conservation initiatives that help reduce the Hanford footprint. The comprehensive sitewide recycling program led by MSA has resulted in cost savings, while contributing to our mission of protecting the environment.

MSA is committed to the future of the Hanford area and post-cleanup land use. We maintain the long-term stewardship program, now overseeing six of the nine reactors and supporting DOE’s vision of future site access.

In partnership with DOE, Hanford contractors and the community, MSA is committed to building a community that is economically strong, culturally rich and environmentally conscious.

REGIONAL CHAMBER OUTSTANDING MEMBER OF THE MONTH

    OCT

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Perfection Glass as the October “Outstanding Member of the Month.” Many Tri-Citians have experienced their excellent customer service as they’ve been serving the community for over 35 years and have held a membership with the Regional Chamber for the last 27 years. They’ve been awarded Window & Door Magazine’s 2011 Dealer of the Year and a 2014 Top Specialist. Most recently, Perfection Glass committed to donate $100 to our local Habitat for Humanity for every Seahawks touchdown scored during the 2014 season!
