Since 1994, Sister Deanna ministers as the Director of Pastoral Ministry at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As I look back on these 50 years of religious life, I see that God gave me a wonderful gift of love. I have been able to share the love given me with all the children I have taught and adults I have ministered with. I have been loved in return. All have been gifts to me. Religious life has been such a gift and God has been with me all the way. I have grown through each of my ministry experiences, and I continue to grow. I know religious life is not for everyone, but it certainly has been the best way of life for me. In each of my ministry experiences with first and second graders through senior citizens, I have been aware of God’s wisdom shown to us through scripture and our sharing of faith with one another. Wisdom is found in everyone at every age.
