Young and old are enthralled by this way, surrounded by colorful cottages, where you will find many treasures, before stop-ping to admire the nativity scene. It’s difficult to leave this market without drinking some warm apple juice, parading on the carousel horses and posting a letter to Father Christmas.
4 Koïfhus • Indoor art and craft market Come in and warm up in this medie-val building, where you will discover the creations of local artisans: cera-mists, potters, glassmakers, wood-workers, hatters, jewelers... On the first floor, find more of the wonders of these specialists and enjoy the Christmas stage, settled by the Toy’s Museum with electric trains in its winter mountain décor!
3 Place de l’Ancienne DouaneThis pretty square hosts nearly 50 huts, harmoniously arranged around the Schwendi fountain and extended along the river. At night the old customs Koïfhus, a true work of medieval architecture, is subtly dressed in lights, which sublimate the Christmas market.
2 Place Jeanne d’Arc • Tradition and terroirThis market is dedicated to local pro-ducts, while recreating the intimate atmosphere of an Alsatian village with its half-timbered houses, churches and its animals. It offers many culinary delights such as products of Alsatian tradition, foie gras, charcuterie, wine, brandies, Christmas cakes, ginger-bread and many more.
1 Place des DominicainsDominating the market, the Domi-nican Church is pushed out of darkness by its remarkable stained glass art from the 14th century. Illu-minated by the atmosphere of this historic site, lays huts huddled toge-ther beneath it, offering Christmas decorations, trees and festive meals.
