Example Assume that the APM30H is the environment monitoring device of the site, andthe site battery is configured. Check for the Mains Input Out of Range alarm.

1. Cut off the AC power supply to the eNodeB, so that the AC voltage drops belowthe AC voltage lower threshold.

2. Check for the Mains Input Out of Range alarm on the M2000 client. If thealarm exists, the related configuration is correct.

Preparations for the Local eNodeB Commissioning Through the USB Storage DeviceBefore the local eNodeB commissioning through the USB storage device, you needto collect the related eNodeB information, arrange for commissioning tools anddigital certificates, and save the required files to the USB storage device.

1. Before the local eNodeB commissioning through the USB storage device, you needto arrange for the related eNodeB information and tools.

2. When the security GW is deployed in the network, the eNodeB and the securityGW have to identify each other through the digital certificate. Therefore, thedigital certificate is required for the eNodeB commissioning. The digital certificateon the eNodeB side incorporates the operator's cross certificate signed by Huawei,operator's root certification authority (CA) certificate (or CA certificate chain withthe root CA certificate), and operator's certificate revocation list (CRL). The digitalcertificate on the security GW side incorporates Huawei root CA certificate andHuawei CRL file.

3. Before the local eNodeB commissioning through the USB storage device, you needto save the required files in a specified directory of the USB storage device.

When the security GW is deployed in the network, the eNodeB and the security GW haveto identify each other through the digital certificate. Therefore, the digital certificate isrequired for the eNodeB commissioning. Tool Description

Laptop The hardware configuration, software configuration, and communicationcapabilities of the laptop should meet certain specifications. For details, seeConfiguration Requirements for the Computer Installed with the LMT in theeNodeB LMT User Guide .

The software and data configuration file required for the eNodeBcommissioning on the LMT are saved in the laptop.

Ethernet cable The Ethernet cable connects the laptop to the eNodeB.

Testing UE The testing UE is functional and is registered in the HSS.

Step1. In the IE address bar, enter the IP address for local maintenance of the eNodeB maincontrol board. By default, the IP address is: 192.168.0.49.

Step2. Click Go to for Logging in to the LMT. By default, the user name is admin and thepassword is admin. Both the user name and password are case sensitive.

Step3. Download the FTP server software. (Optional. Perform this step only when there is noFTP server at the local computer.)

1. On the LMT, click the Software Management button. The SoftwareManagement tab page is displayed.

Postrequisite After the OM channel for the eNodeB is established, the eNodeB commissioning iscomplete, and the eNodeB starts to provide services properly, you need to set the eNodeBto the common state on the M2000. The remaining alarms and subsequent alarms arereported to the Fault tab of the Browse Alarm tab with new serial numbers.

1. On the M2000 client , choose Maintenance > Maintenance Mode . TheMaintenance Mode tab page is displayed.

2. Click Set Ne Mode at the upper left corner of the Maintenance Mode tab page.The Set Ne Mode dialog box is displayed.

3. Select the target NE and specify the time.4. Set Mode to NORMAL. The eNodeB is changed to the normal state.

5. Click OK. The setting of the maintenance mode is complete.
